Chandigarh Oct.12, 2020:- To commemorate Air Force day, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized a webinar to make students aware about contribution of IAF in National Security and future prospects in the arena.
Students of University School of Engineering, Applied Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Dental, Nursing, Education, Management, Hotel Management, Para-Medical and NCC student in collaboration with 3 PUNJAB AIR SQN PATIALA attended the event.
Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor and Dr. Tejinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor, said, "The Nation remains indebted to the Indian Air Force for contribution in securing our skies and assisting civil authorities in humanitarian relief during disaster management"
HFO Robin Paul (Retd.) and Er. Parmod Mandal HOD, Aeronautical Engineering discussed the working of Indian Air Force.
Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor, DeshBhagat University, expressed gratitude towards IAF and discussed the selection criteria and future prospects Indian Air Force.
