Chandigarh Oct. 27, 2020:- Desh Bhagat University, a leading private university, in Punjab celebrated its foundation day on 25th Oct 2020. A brief program was organized at university campus and webcast of the program was arranged for staff and students staying at home. A great sense of happiness, joy and contentment was prevailing in the campus. Faculty and staff members showcased their talent in the cultural program organized to celebrate the day with full zeal and fervor.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, DBU and Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur congratulated staff members and appreciated their contribution in building DBU a successful and result oriented educational hub. They said that we are very happy to share that the university has been accorded with the coveted 12 (B) status by UGC for its academic excellence. We take pride in being the 1st State Private University of Punjab to set a milestone in the landscape of education. We firmly believe that there is no substitute for hard work and no great achievement can be made without vision. We, at DBU, have been successful in gaining trust of all our stakeholders and will continue to strive for excellence.
Dr. Varinder Singh- Advisor to Chancellor shared his views and experiences earned in the journey at DBU.
Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor, DBU said thatour team is our strength and we are achieving great things.
Dr. Sandeep Singh, Vice President, Desh Bhagat University, said that success is not a destination, it's a continuous journey and we will keep on marching to touch and cross new milestones leading towards excellence and continue to serve society and build the nation.
