Ankur School’s Student Naina Wins Two Medals in Badminton

Chandigarh 13th November:- Naina a class IX student of Ankur School, Sector 14 won a silver medal in badminton singles and a bronze medal in doubles in under 17 category. This competition was organized by Chandigarh Badminton Association. She has been selected for the Junior Nationals  and also for the Junior National Camp.

Naina is going to Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh for participating in the National level competition to be organised by the School Federation of India from 16 Nov to 24 November. After that she will also compete in Senior Nationals (under 17) to be held at Guwahati from 13th December to 17th December.

Naina has won a number of medals at state and National levels before also.She will be participating in the Nationals for the 3rd time. Naina got 1st rank in under 17 category the All India Krishna Khaitan ranking tournament which was held in Panjab University Chandigarh.

School Principal Dr Parminder Duggle congratulated Naina for her achievement and also wished her best of luck for the nationals. She added that she hoped that Naina will bring laurels to the school in the nationals as well.
