Urvashi Sharma Allergic to Fake Jewelry:Designs Pieces in Gold Especially For Her Role

Chandigarh 13^th July:-  Supermodel and actor Urvashi Sharma, who has recently made her fiction debut playing the title role in Zee TV's weekend show 'Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma' is going the extra mile to ensure that her character of Zeenat, a mother of two-turned-matriarch to millions looks authentic and convincing on screen. The stunning actor known for her glamorous persona and panache has gone de-glam and gained weight to enact the role of Zeenat Shaikh. With the actor creatively contributing towards the minutest details, she wasn't about to let something like an allergy come in the way of presenting the character flawlessly. With Zeenat having a fascination for gold and jewelry, Urvashi was required to wear intricate artificial jewelry. Now, this posed a problem for her as she is allergic to artificial jewelry and gets severe rashes after wearing them. The production was in a fix as to how to handle this!

Being a thorough professional, Urvashi didn't let her allergy interfere in the shoot. She immediately got all the ornaments made for herself in real gold to continue with the shoot! She got gold kadas, rings, pairs of ear rings and neckpieces after discussing the designs with the creative team & paid for it herself. The gorgeous actor is planning to get more jewellery made as later in the show; she will be seen wearing heavy jewelry. Interestingly, Urvashi does not wear gold as she usually prefers diamonds and precious stones in her personal life. Kudos to the actor for being sensitive to production costs and footing the tab for all the gold jewelry she's got made exclusively for her character.

Urvashi shared that yes, she is using her own gold jewelry as she is allergic to artificial jewelry. She gets rashes all over her body if she wears artificial pieces. She didn't want any hindrance in the shoot, so, she decided to get all of them made on her own. She is going to have more made to keep up with the gradual progression in the story where she will be seen wearing heavier jewellery. The jewellery she wears depicts each phase of Zeenat's life till she becomes Amma.  She has got all the ornaments made after discussing the designs with the creative team to capture the essence perfectly. She doesn't personally wear gold because she wears diamonds and precious stones off-screen. Now, she has no choice but to buy gold jewelry…it just adds to her personal collection.
