Chandigarh 20th July:- GIS based mechanized city cleaning project of Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has been adjudged amongst the top 100 projects in India for the year 2016 by Skoch Society, this project of Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar will be conferred "Skoch Order-of-Merit" Award during the 45thSkoch Summit on 8th – 9th September 2016 at HICC Complex, Hitec City, Hyderabad. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has been invited to receive this award in person during the summit.
Dr. Gursharan Dhanjal, Editor and CEO, Skoch Society has conveyed his heartiest congratulations to Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for doing an exemplary work in the field of GIS based mechanized city cleaning and serving the country. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar said that now Municipal Corporation, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar will be competing for "Skoch Smart City Award, 2016" and "Skoch Bharat Award, 2016" – India's highest independent civilian honour since 2003 and he and his team is ready to compete for the highest Award. He gave the credit of this achievement to entire Sanitation staff of Municipal Corporation and residents of Mohali.
