Chandigarh 14th July:- MCM DAV College for Women, a pioneer in quality women education, witnessed unprecedented response for its various courses during the ongoing counseling for the new academic session.
MCM adheres to rigorous selection criteria in order to maintain the highest academic standards that MCM is synonymous with. Due to its preference for merit, there are a few seats lying vacant at MCM. In B.A., a few seats are available in the subjects of English (Elective), Economics, Public Administration, Music(I), Home Science, Fine Arts, Police Administration, Music (V), Sanskrit, Hindi and Punjabi. For national or state level players, seats are available in Physical Education in B.A. 5 seats each are open in BCA, M.A. (Sociology) and M.A. (Economics)while professional courses, 4 seats are available in PGDCA and 5 seats in PGDMC.
MCM Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava credited the untiring efforts of MCM staff for the overwhelming response to various courses. She further added that the vacant seats in certain courses are an opportunity for students to gain an entry into this prestigious institution.
