Chandigarh 20th January:- Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali will co-partner with the annual EFFI-CARS event that is being hosted by University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab University from January 22 to January 24. EFFI-CARs is a student design event where engineering students design, build and race 4 wheeled and 2-seater electric vehicles. The aim of the event is to bridge the gap between the bookish learning of college students and the corporate culture.
Max Hospital Mohali will give medical cover to around 250 participants spread across 25 colleges from Pan-India who will compete in the event. Ambulatory services and first aid will be provided to those present.
Sandeep Dogra, VP and Zonal Head, Max Hospitals Punjab said that we feel that it is important for people to commit themselves to a healthier future and associating with EFFI CARS is a step in that direction. Our objective is to provide instant medical aid for any medical contingency and back up services at the hospital. We hope to extend our services to maximum students participating and wish them good health in future.
He added that in this 3-day event, the participants across various colleges from all over the country will bring their 4 wheeled 2-seater electric vehicles to Chandigarh for the event. The judges from Max Hospital will judge the vehicles on various designs and build parameters on the first two days. The vehicles will then race and will be tested on endurance on the 3rd day.
Meanwhile the Production Plan Award for the winner to be named after Max Hospital. The representatives from Max hospital will also judge the production and marketing plans of the participants.
