Chandigarh 19th January:- An emergent meeting of the affiliates of employees forum held today i.e. on 19.01.2016 in the Chairmanship of Brij Lal. The meeting was held to review the 20th Jan., 2016 Dharna. The meeting discuss the termination orders of the leaders of Aganwari Workers. After detail delebrations meeting in view of assurances given by Bhawna Garg, Secretary Social Welfare to revoke the termination orders of Anganwari Workers decided to postponed its scheduled Dharna of 20.01.2016 till further decision and hope that the Secretary Social Welfare will fulfil its commitments within day or two so as to built the confidence amongst the working class.
The meeting further decided to hold its next meeting on 27.01.2016 in which whole issue will be discussed in detail and decided that if the order of termination will not be revoke then further line of agitation will be decided on 27.01.2016.
The meeting unanimously condemned the abetment for suicide to a dalit student in Hyderabad University by two minister of Central Govt. and Concern Vice Chancellor and express its deep concern and anguish. The meeting is of the firm view that since the BJP came in to power in Centre the general attitude towards working class is inimical specially on dalits and women, same situation is being repeated in Dalit in Punjab where Akali leaders in collaboration with police officials have killed dalits and labouring people and in some cases the parts of body had been cut apart in a inhuman way. Polarisation of society breaks the unity of working class. Meeting called its member to throughts such heinous attempts.
