Chandigarh 09th September:- Lawrence Sen. Sec School, organized a fresher party to welcome the newly admitted students of XI & XII class. A cultural extravaganza was organized to mark this event. Principal of the School Veena Malhotra welcomed the fresher's & urged them to instill the values of inquisitiveness, toil, discipline, courage, altruism and patience in them. She further motivated them to remain committed to the path of truthfulness. She emphasized that there is no shortcut to hard work to succeed professionally. Centre attraction of the event was selection of the Mr. & Ms Elegant, Mr. Handsome & Mr. Confident.
Harmandeep Kaur & Rushaan won the title of Mr & Ms. Fresher. Whereas Roop meet was Ms. Elegant , Bhaskar as Mr Confident Pardeep selected as Mr. Handsome .
Later, the Students presented the rich Indian culture through different forms of dance, which included Manipuri Dance, Nagaland Dance, Nepali Dance, Kashmiri Dance, Himachali Dance, Bhangra, Western dance and folk dance of Punjab.
