Chandigarh 05th September:- Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri celebrated Teachers Day at its campus. 23 teachers with excellent results in examinations conducted by PTU during the previous year were honoured with Certificates of Excellence and Cash Prizes .as many as 34 Students excelled in PTU 2014 exams. Dr Raman Chadha, Dr Vivek Mittal, Dr Adarsh Aggarwal, Anmol Randhawa, Sunny Puri, Rimanpal Kaur, Gurpreet Grewal, Seema Rawal, Jagjeet Singh Gill, Sukhmeet Kaur, Rachna Bhatia, Monica Sharma, Shilpa Arora, Jatinder Kaur, Akshay Chaudhary, Anil Jindal, Sarabjit Singh, Ramanpreet Kaur, Pravneet Kaur, Shilpa Jamwal, Neayti Thakur, Falak Thakral and Priya were the 23 teachers honoured at the moment by CGC Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu & President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal .
While congratulating all the teachers President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, thanked them for achieving excellent results. He further added that a teacher is one who shapes the destiny of the student. He lauded the contribution of teachers in the over-all development of country. He further added that it is due to the dedicated efforts of the faculty that today CGC Jhanjeri is known for a strong academic environment.
