Chandigarh 13th June:- Summer camp at Oakridge International School concluded with a blast. Children of all age groups & parents hummed of the energy. It was a canvas of colour, streaked with the vibrancy of dances and plays. The celebration began with the inauguration of the Art exhibition by the youngest participant in the camp. As the parents entered the exhibition they were spell bounded. The room was weaved by the art pieces of the children. From tie and dye to jute table mats painting; from glass paintings to glass lamp shades; from glass bottles converted into home decor, each piece of art was a reflection of what the children had learnt in the weeks. They captivated the audience and the efforts of the children achieved highest applaud. Then, came the dance and drama presentations. The show began with a mime dance .Parents were mesmerised to see the dance performance of the children. Fusion, mime and zumba dance stole the show to a new level. Children then enacted small scenes that showcased their confidence and speech. Parents also join their children on the stage and showcase various dance performance .The tiny tots were the show stoppers with their play, 'Rudolph'. This theatre aspect of the camp was provided by Helen O Grady, a renowned organization known for their speech and communication development skills.
The school Director, Abhishek Sharma and the Principal Ramanjit Ghuman honoured participants with the certificates. While speaking at the moment Principal Ghuman urged children to continue developing the skills that they have acquired in this camp.
