Aganwari Workers To Go on Leave on 16th June

Chandigarh 13^th June:- An emergency meeting of Aganwari workers union Chandigarh again took place on today under the chairmanship of Smt. Anita Sharma President of the Union. The meeting discuss the notice serve to the Director Social Welfare on 06.06.2015 regarding summer & winter vacation, regulations of Aganwari workers and took them under the minimum wage act and Rs.23,000/- PM for the purpose of accommodation to observe day long dharna on 10.06.2015. The authorities of social welfare department neither accept any demands nor called the union for any dialogue. The union further in its Dharna held on 10.06.2015 conveys that if the decision of summer vacation will not be declared  as Punjab pattern till 14.06.2015. Then union will again lodge mass protest on 15.06.2015 before the office of social welfare onwards 11 AM. The authorities have not conveyed the union regarding the summer vacation and neither fixed any meeting. The union therefore decided to held massive dharna on 15.06.2015 and further decided that all the workers and helpers will go on leave from 16^th June 2015 to 30^th June 2015. The authorities of social welfare department till fully responsible for the inconvince as they remain fail to implement its decisions.
