Chandigarh 13th April:- As many as 32 Canadian Colleges & Universities; converged at Hotel Taj in Chandigarh to participate in 'Study in Canada Mega Education Fair'. The fair which was organized by Charms Education & Immigration Services Pvt. Ltd, At the education fair student admission and visa processing queries were answered. Some special offers were made to students enrolling for September 2015 & January 2016 intake. Many Institutes offered application fee waiver, on the spot admissions, assessments etc. Information on scholarships for meritorious students was also shared.
Rahul Paitka, MD, Charms Education & Immigration Services Pvt Ltd said, that we have got a very good response. Prospective students had a fruitful session with admission heads of different Canadian Institutes. Many of them have registered for courses and now our company will provide admission and visa guidance to them.
According to Ms. Krista Pearson, Registrar & Director, International, Sault College, that she had seen that students in Chandigarh and Punjab region have become much more aware about study prospects in Canada. Their skill levels in both spoken and written English too have improved. We have received a good response and are offering unique programmes like Post Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
Manish Paitka, CEO, Charms Education & Immigration Services Pvt Ltd. Said that there is a provision now for students to work off campus for 20 hours a week. The advantage one gets while studying in Canada in any of the Institutes that we work with is that they are all government funded, this does not make them commercial in nature and these are able to focus on delivering quality education.
Sharanjit Singh, a prospective student, said that the fair has played a very important role in imparting knowledge about the best courses on offer in Canadian Higher Education sector. I learnt that Canada offers a very competitive fee structure vis a vis other International study destinations.
