Chandigarh 09th March:- To acknowledge the unending array of achievements that make MCM proud, the college organized a prize distribution function to honor and encourage over 400 students for their excellent contribution in academics, cultural activities and sports. The event began with the annual report presentation by the Principal of the college, Dr. Puneet Bedi. The report encompassed the record of exceptional accomplishments of the college in the academic year.
To inspire the academic achievers cash prize worth 2.84 lacs, college colours, special prizes and trophies were awarded. Kriti Sharma was awarded all round best title for an outstanding performance in academics, for exceptional participation in extra curricular activities, the all round best trophy was given to Pia Bakshi while Nisha Hooda bagged all round best for excellent achievement in sports. Numerous special prizes and college colours were also awarded to the students for unparalleled accomplishments in various fields. Sumi Sareen bagged the Best Rotaractor Prize. The illustrious alumna of the college was also felicitated during the event. Various teachers of the college were also felicitated for their accomplishments. The annual newsletter was also unveiled at the occasion by the honorable chief guest. The college teams for giddha, mime and music were also honoured for their exquisite performance during the Punjab University zonal and inter- zonal youth festival. The guests and dignitaries applauded the commendable performance and enthusiasm shown by the students and inspired them to work harder and establish similar feats.
The chief guest R.S. Sharma, labeled the college as one of the best women's institution in the nation and appreciated the endeavors of the principal in taking it to greater heights. The Principal of the college Dr. Puneet Bedi congratulated the prize winners and applauded their untiring spirit to achieve.
