Indian Army’s Placement Drive organize at Indo global Colleges

Chandigarh 09th March:-. Indo global colleges organized Army placement Drive at its campus for selection as Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army. The recruitment are being made under the University Entry Scheme for Permanent Commission in the Army for July 2016. A team of Army officials headed by the Commanding Officer Colonel Dheeraj Chandola along with Lt. Col. Nand Kishor and team of officers commenced it with a detailed presentation on career in the Indian Army. As many as 300 students from different colleges participated in it to serve the nation.

The selection procedure follows a series of procedures such as Checking documents, Physical Measurements and Fitness test, Medical examination, preparation of merit list, enrolment and dispatch of selected candidates in order of merit to respective centers. After interview 34 students were selected. After final selection, the candidates would undergo one year training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun before being commissioned. Also, on commissioning two years antedate seniority is granted to these officers.

Sukhdev Kumar Singla, Chairman of Indo Global Colleges while congratulating the selected candidates said that it is a matter of great pride that this is the sixth consecutive year that Indo Global Colleges has been hosting the Indian Army as nodal centre for selection of commissioned officers under the University Entry Scheme.
