250 students Placed by 13 Companies at Mega Job Fest at Gian Jyoti Group

Chandigarh 12^th February:- Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions organized its Mega Job Fest 2015 at its campus. About 1500 candidates from around 100 colleges participated in the fest from the colleges of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.  The students from diverse streams were offered jobs based on written test, Group Discussions and Personal Interview as per the criteria of the companies.

Various corporate giants from Banking, IT, Finance, Telecom and Media have come to Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions for their requirements. Globally reputed Companies like Videocon, IndusInd Bank, E-Clerx, Tech Bankers, Harrison Associates, Justdial.com, Vault Up, Sundaram Finance, Dainik Bhaskar, Deft Soft Informatics, AI Smart Systems, Smarttalk, etc., offered package in the range of 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs. The students from different streams like B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc (IT), BBA, BCA, B.Com participated in the fest. Companies used their own processes for selection, like Aptitude test, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Total 13 companies hired 250 Candidates & offered Jobs at packages ranging from 1.5 Lacs to 3.75 Lacs per Annum. 

The event was inaugurated by J S Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti group of Intuitions. During his interaction Chairman Bedi emphasized that we need to provide the students good human values and positive attitude apart from technical skills, so that India can become a prosperous and be peaceful nation in coming future. If we want to prosper, the only way forward for us is to have positive minded and skillful youth.
