Oakridge International School students learnt surviving skill in natural disaster

Mohali 16th October:- Oakridge International School organized an Educational Trip to

 Shimla to satisfy the natural instinct of curiosity for the students. The simple  exploration was fun, entertainment as well as educational for them. All the places for excursions from Shimla are worth for the students as stayed there in tents in natural atmosphere which was near to river side.Students learnt there tactics of fishing besides they got a chance to river crossing, which became a center attractions for them. In fact, a trip to Shimla can't be successful without visiting the excursions around it so apart from the natural beauty, rappelling, rope climbing, Obstacle Climbing, flying fox was also taught to the students which is an effective exercise for the arms, upper back and core. These exercises are useful at the time of natural disasters. It demands entire body and sometimes even more so on mind also.

While speaking at the moment Principal,  Mrs Pranjala Dutta Das said at the moment that such trip provide students   opportunities to sharpen important life skills related to communication, teamwork, problem solving , leadership and risk management.
