Mohali11th October:- Mata Sahib Kaur Public School celebrated their annual athletic meet at its campus. The function was presided over by Education minister Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema. While the students, full of energy were in the best of their festive spirits. The students displayed their athletic skills By displayed their talents in athletics, long jump, shot put, martial arts, gymnastics, aerobics and dances. Krishan Sharma and Maninder kaur were declared best player. At the moment students of Red Cross staged a play with the theme of helping the needy .later, students of junior section presented various dance activities i.e solo dances, and folk dances of Punjab. Chief Guest Dr.Cheema motivated the students to play game along with education.
Principal of the school,Ranjit Kaur while congratulating the students said that for the overall development of every child, equal opportunities are given in all arenas, may it be sports, academics or any other cultural activities. She further encouraging the winners informed that sporting events at the school level help a student to be physically and mentally fit. It also helps develop professional sports persons.
