Three Day Workshop on Business Intelligence Inaugurate

Chandigarh 15^th July: -- Dr.R.K. Bawa, HOD, Department of Computer Science, Punjabi University Patiala inaugurated Three Day Workshop on Business Intelligence [Information Technology]. The Workshop is from 15^th july to 17^th july 2013. Dr. Bawa lauded the joint effort of Infosys, Punjabi University and SUS Group of Institutions, Tangori, to popularize this important subject of Business Intelligence.

 

 According to Col. (Retd.) Rakesh  Sharma, Director-General SUS Group of Colleges, Tangori eminent Professors and scholars discussed  various aspects of Business Intelligence including concepts of OLAP, OLTP, Data Warehousing, Introduction to ETL, Data Modelling Concepts and Enterprising Reporting features.

 

Among the other speakers were Dr. R.K. Bawa, HOD, Department of Computer Science, Punjabi University Patiala and Ms. Seema Acharya of Infosys. , Chairman of SUS Group of Institutes , Er. Sukhwinder Singh Sidhu  stated that this is a real Academia-Industry interface and the faculty and students would imbibe the nuances of new subject of Business Intelligence. 20 Delegates from various colleges and Institutes participated in day long deliberations
