5-star rated at BNCAP

The Škoda Kylaq has set a benchmark in safety, emerging as the best-performing vehicle in the ICE sub-4-metre compact SUV segment. It achieved an impressive 30.88 points out of 32 (97%) in Adult Occupant Protection and 45 points out of 49 (92%) in Child Occupant Protection. For child safety, the Kylaq excelled with a perfect score of 16 points (100%) in the frontal offset barrier test and 8 points (100%) in the side-moving deformable barrier test for 1.5 and 3-year-old children. Additionally, it earned maximum points in the recommended child seat assessment and 9 points out of 13 (69%) in the vehicle-based assessment, highlighting Škoda's commitment to safety across all parameters.

 

Tailored features

The Kylaq introduces several segment-firsts, including six-way electric seats with ventilation for both the driver and front passenger. A dedicated stowing space for the parcel tray further enhances the boot's usability and versatility. The Kylaq's boot offers a segment-best 446 litres of capacity, which expands to 1,265 litres with the rear seats folded down.  features Auto Climatronic, with ventilation for the electrically adjustable front seats. Select variants are also available with an electric sunroof. Also on offer are cruise control, steering-mounted paddle-shifters with the six-speed automatic gearbox, leatherette seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and wireless charging among other features. Modern Solid: A new interpretation of familiar Škoda lines

As the first Škoda model in India to adopt the new Modern Solid design language, the Kylaq's exterior is defined by a distinctive shape and clean lines. front is characterised by a shiny black grille with 3D ribs, while the hallmark Škoda SUV "four eyes" headlights graphic has been completely reinterpreted. The Kylaq is also the first model in India to feature the all-new Škoda wordmark on the rear. Also new is a bold front lower spoiler in aluminium optics in the front. 

 

Precise Daytime Running Lamp signature

With the Modern Solid era, the headlights feature slim lines and a minimalist, purposeful design. While the narrow upper segments of the headlights serve as daytime running lights, position lights and indicators, the larger lower modules provide the important low-beam and high beam functions with crystalline designed LED elements.

 

Compact dynamic silhouette

The sides of the Kylaq are adorned with clean and modern lines. It has a robust cladding around the wheel arches and sills that accentuate the high ground clearance and space around the wheel. This lends the Kylaq that SUV character within its compact dimensions. Adding more value to the design of the Kylaq is a hexagon pattern along the side and rear of the car.

Robust proportions, soulful colours

The Škoda Kylaq is 3,995mm long, 1,783mm wide, and 1,619mm, with a wheelbase measuring a generous 2,566mm. Most importantly, the Kylaq stands a comfortable 189mm off the ground. These compact, yet elegant proportions are rounded off at the rear with the all-new Škoda wordmark on a wide black stripe flanked by the rear lights. The rear lamps themselves reveal a distinct T-shaped light signature. This is supported by the distinct rear bumper equipped with a 3D diffusor insert in aluminium optics. The Kylaq is available in seven paint finishes and making its debut in the Kylaq is the Olive Gold colour. This colour is exclusive to the Kylaq and is inspired by the rich greens and versatile fauna of Lonavala during the monsoon season.

 

Power with performance and safety

The Kylaq accelerates to a 100kph in 10.5 seconds with the manual transmission. The SUV also has a top speed of 188kph. Its 1.0 TSI engine produces 85kW of power and 178Nm of torque. This powerplant is mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic with paddle shifters in select variants. The car is based on the same MQB-A0-IN platform as the Kushaq and Slavia. These two cars have already scored a full 5-stars in Global NCAP tests for adults and children. The Kylaq comes standard with over 25 active and passive safety features, including standard equipment includes six airbags, traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Disc Wiping, Roll Over Protection, Motor Slip Regulation, Electronic Differential Lock, Passenger airbag de-activation, Multi Collision Braking, ISOFIX child seats, and more. The manual variant claims a fuel efficiency of 19.68 km/l.

 

Tested to the moon and back

The Kylaq has undergone more than 800,000 km of testing on diverse Indian terrains – including urban roads, highways, steep inclines, and rough surfaces – exceeding the distance from Earth to the moon and back and amounting to over 20 trips around the Earth's circumference. This all-new sub-4m segment SUV has been put through temperatures varying from -10 to +85 degree Celsius and across elevation ranging from sea level to 3,000 metres above sea level. To ensure thorough monsoon preparedness and perfect sealing from the elements, 100 random samples of the Kylaq have been exposed to 25-30 litre per minute/sq mt. of water at an angle of up to 16 degrees. This ensures the Kylaq has zero water ingress in extreme monsoons. The Kylaq has also been put through a vehicle shaker test to ensure the interiors remain silent and rattle-free on all road surfaces. The car has also spent two years in open weather to test all the polymeric parts to ensure highest quality standards.

 

Quality at its roots

Numerous quality measures are integrated into the Kylaq's manufacturing processes, resulting in class-leading safety and driving dynamics. The roof and other joints are laser-blazed, the geometry setting of the Kylaq is robotised, inline measurements of the chassis are done at two locations and AI cameras at the assembly line inspect for variations and inconsistencies on the engine surface. And the use of hot-stamped steel, with a redone crash management system ensures the best possible safety in the Kylaq.

 

Comprehensive options

The Škoda Kylaq presents a wide range of choices, including two transmission options, four variants, and seven colours. Powered by the high-performance, efficient and reliable 1.0 TSI engine delivering 85kW of power and 178Nm of torque, it is available with a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. Customers can choose from four variants – Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige – and seven striking colour options, including Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black and the Kylaq exclusive Olive Gold.

 

Variants for an enhanced ownership experience

The entry-level Classic variant comes equipped with six airbags and over 25 active and passive safety features as standard, including ESC, LED lighting, rear parking sensors, and automatic speed-sensitive central locking. The Signature variant goes up a notch and includes a tyre pressure monitoring system, Cruise Control, a 17.7cms infotainment system, and adjustable rear AC vents. Signature+ adds Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a larger 25.6cms infotainment system, and a virtual cockpit. The top-of-the-line Prestige is packed with features like an electric sunroof, ventilated seats, paddle shifters, and segment-first six-way electrically adjustable seats.

 

Segment-best ownership

The Kylaq offers a 3-year/100,000kms whichever earlier, standard warranty. Along with this, it also offers six-year anti-corrosion warranty as standard across the range. This SUV, like the Kushaq and Slavia, is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform. It was developed jointly by teams in India and the Czech Republic with an eye on low maintenance costs, while retaining Škoda's traditional qualities of dynamics and safety.

 

Sustainably manufactured

The Kylaq is produced at the Chakan plant, where 30% (18.5 MW) of the power is generated from solar energy – a figure Škoda aims to increase to 75% by 2026. This water-positive facility returns more water to the environment than it consumes. With over 660,000 trees planted, the plant has earned Zero Waste to Landfill and Zero Liquid Discharge Certifications. The Kylaq itself uses a sustainable bamboo-fibre infused pad with a textile finish creating a speckle effect in the dashboard area.

Panchkula, Jan.27, 2025:- महिलाओं में बढ़ती थायरॉइड समस्या उनके कारण, लक्षण और बचाव सम्बन्धी जागरूक करने के लिए आयोजित एक सेमिनार में पारस हेल्थ के सीनियर कंसल्टेंट एंडोक्राइनोलॉजिस्ट डा. गौरव पालिखे ने बताया कि थायरॉइड विकार से बचने के लिए नियमित मेडिकल चेकअप जरूरी है। खासकर 35 वर्ष से अधिक आयु की महिलाओं को और जिनके परिवार में यह समस्या रही हो। खून की जांच, टेस्ट, समय पर निदान में सहायक हो सकती हैं।

डा. गौरव ने बताया कि थायरॉइड, जो गर्दन में मौजूद एक छोटी ग्रंथि है, हमारे शरीर के मेटाबॉलिज्म और ऊर्जा संतुलन को नियंत्रित करती है। हालांकि यह समस्या किसी को भी हो सकती है, लेकिन महिलाओं में थायरॉइड विकार का खतरा पुरुषों की तुलना में 10 गुना अधिक होता है। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके पीछे मुख्य कारण महिलाओं के हार्मोनल बदलाव हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि महिलाओं में एस्ट्रोजन हार्मोन का उतार-चढ़ाव, खासकर गर्भावस्था, प्रसव और मेनोपॉज के दौरान, थायरॉइड ग्रंथि की कार्यप्रणाली को सीधे प्रभावित करता है। इसके अलावा, आनुवंशिकी भी एक अहम भूमिका निभाती है। जिन महिलाओं के परिवार में थायरॉइड की समस्या रही है, उनमें इसका खतरा अधिक होता है।

डा. गौरव ने बताया कि गर्भवती महिलाओं को थायरॉइड हार्मोन के स्तर की नियमित जांच करानी चाहिए। असंतुलित थायरॉइड हार्मोन से मां और बच्चे दोनों को जटिलताएं हो सकती हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि थायरॉइड विकार के लक्षण अक्सर सामान्य जीवन के हिस्से जैसे लग सकते हैं, लेकिन इनमें अचानक वजन बढ़ना या घटना, थकान, बालों का झड़ना, मूड स्विंग और मासिक धर्म में अनियमितता शामिल हैं। इन लक्षणों को नजरअंदाज करना खतरनाक हो सकता है।

डा. गौरव ने बताया कि स्वस्थ आहार, नियमित व्यायाम और तनाव प्रबंधन थायरॉइड विकारों को रोकने में मदद कर सकते हैं। गंभीर मामलों में दवा या सर्जरी से इलाज संभव है। सही समय पर निदान और इलाज से जीवन की गुणवत्ता में सुधार हो सकता है।

अंत में सतगुरु माता जी ने फरमाया कि जीवन एक वरदान है और इसे परमात्मा के साथ हर पल जुड़कर जीना चाहिए। जीवन के हर पल को सही दिशा में जीने से ही हमें आत्मिक सन्तोष एवं शान्ति मिल सकती है, हम असीम की ओर बढ़ सकते हैं।

 

इसके पूर्व समागम के दूसरे दिन सतगुरु माता जी ने अपने अमृत वचनों में कहा कि जीवन में भक्ति के साथ कर्तव्यों के प्रति जागरुक रहकर संतुलित जीवन जियें यह आवाहन सतगुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज ने पिंपरी पुणे में आयोजित 58वें वार्षिक निरंकारी सन्त समागम के दूसरे दिन शाम को सत्संग समारोह में विशाल रूप में उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को किया।

 

सतगुरु माताजी ने फरमाया कि जैसे एक पक्षी को उड़ने के लिए दोनों पंखों की आवश्यकता होती है, वैसे ही जीवन में भक्ति के साथ साथ अपनी सामाजिक एवं पारिवारिक जिम्मदारियों को निभाना अति आवश्यक है। यदि कोई केवल भक्ति में ही लीन रहते हैं और कर्मक्षेत्र से दूर भागने का प्रयास करते हैं तो जीवन संतुलित बनना सम्भव नहीं। दूसरी तरफ भक्ति या आध्यात्मिकता से किनारा करते हुए केवल भौतिक उपलब्धियों के पीछे भागने से जीवन को पूर्णता प्राप्त नहीं हो सकती।

 

सतगुरु माताजी ने आगे समझाया कि वास्तव में भक्ति और जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वाह का संतुलन तभी सम्भव हो पाता है जब हम जीवन में नेक नीयत, ईश्वर के प्रति निष्काम निरिच्छित प्रेम और समर्पित भाव से सेवा का जज्बा रखें। केवल ब्रह्मज्ञान प्राप्त करना काफी नहीं, बल्कि उसे अपने जीवन में अपनाना भी आवश्यक है।

 

एक उदाहरण के द्वारा सतगुरु माता जी ने समझाया कि जैसे कोई दुकानदार अपने काम को पूरी ईमानदारी और संतुलन के साथ करता है, ग्राहक को मांग के अनुसार सही नापतोल करके माल देता है और उसका उचित मूल्य स्वीकारता है। अपने कार्य में पूरी तरह से संतुलन बनाए रखता है। इसी तरह भक्त परमात्मा से जुड़कर हर कार्य उसके अहसास में करता रहता है, सत्संग सेवा एवं सिमरण को प्राथमिकता देता है, यही वास्तविकता में भक्ति का असली स्वरूप है।

 

इसके पहले आदरणीय निरंकारी राजपिता रमित जी ने अपने विचारों में कहा कि भक्ति का उद्देश्य परमात्मा के साथ एक प्रेमपूर्ण नाता जोड़ने का हो। इसके लिए संतों का जीवन हमारे लिए प्रेरणास्रोत होता है जो हमें अपनी आत्मा का मूल स्वरूप परमात्मा को जानकर जीवन का विस्तार असीम सच्चाई की ओर बढ़ाने की शिक्षा देता है। आपने बताया कि हमें अपनी आस्था और श्रद्धा को सच्चाई की ओर मोड़ना चाहिए और हर पल कदम में परमात्मा के प्रेम को महसूस करना चाहिए तभी सही मायनो में भक्ति का विस्तार सार्थक होगा।

 

समागम की कुछ झलकियां

 

कवि दरबार

            समागम के तीसरे दिन एक बहुभाषी कवि दरबार का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें जिसका विषय था 'विस्तार - असीम की ओर।'महाराष्ट्र के अतिरिक्त देश के विभिन्न स्थानों से आए हुए 21 कवियों ने मराठी, हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी, कोंकणी, भोजपुरी आदि भाषाओं में इस कवि दरबार में काव्य पाठ करते हुए मिशन के दिव्य सन्देश को प्रसारित किया। श्रोताओं द्वारा कवियों की भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा की गई।

 

            मुख्य कवि दरबार के अतिरिक्त समागम के पहले दिन बाल कवि दरबार एवं दूसरे दिन महिला कवि दरबार का आयोजन लघु रूप में किया गया। इन दोनों लघु कवि दरबार कार्यक्रमों में मराठी, हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी भाषाओं के माध्यम से 6 बाल कवि एवं 6 महिला कवियों ने काव्य पाठ किया जिसकी श्रोताओं द्वारा अत्यधिक प्रशंसा की गई। 

 

निरंकारी प्रदर्शनी

समागम में 'विस्तार-असीम की ओर'इस मुख्य विषय पर आधारित निरंकारी प्रदर्शनी श्रोताओं के लिए मुख्य आर्कषण का केन्द्र बनी रही। इस दिव्य प्रदर्शनी को मूलतः दो भागों में विभाजित किया गया था जिसके प्रथम भाग में भक्तों को मिशन के इतिहास, विचारधारा एवं सामयिक गतिविधियों के अतिरिक्त सतगुरु द्वारा देश व विदेशों में की गई दिव्य कल्याणकारी प्रचार यात्राओ की पर्याप्त जानकारी दी गई थी। द्वितीय भाग में संत निरंकारी चैरिटेबल फाउंडेशन द्वारा स्वास्थ्य एवं समाज कल्याण विभाग के सभी उपक्रमों व गतिविधियों को दर्शाया गया था जिसमें प्रोजेक्ट वननेस जो पुरे भारतवर्ष में चल रहे है उसके सम्बंधित कुछ विशेष मॉडल्स इस प्रदर्शनी का केंद्रबिंदू बने रहे। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रोजेक्ट अमृत और निरंकारी इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ म्यूजिक एंड आर्ट्स को देखने के लिए श्रद्धालु जन उत्साहित दिखाई दिए।   

 

कायरोप्रॅक्टिक शिविर

समागम में काईरोप्रैक्टिक तकनीक के द्वारा निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य लाभ का शिविर आयोजित किया गया। यह तकनीक पूर्ण तोर पर रीढ़ की हड्डी से जुडी है। इस तकनीक द्वारा हर रोज लगभग हजार लोग समागम में इस सेवा का लाभ उठा रहे थे। ऑस्ट्रेलिया, यूनाईटेड किंगडम, फ्रांस, अमेरिका के 18 डॉक्टरों की टीम समागम ग्राउंड में अपनी निस्वार्थ सेवाएं प्रदान कर रही थी। इस वर्ष करीब 3500 से अधिक जरुरतमंद श्रद्धालुओं ने इस स्वास्थ्य सुविधा का लाभ प्राप्त किया।

 

निःशुल्क डिस्पेन्सरी

समागम स्थल पर 60 बिस्तर का एक अस्पताल बनाया गया था जिसमें किसी को कोई गंभीर समस्या आने पर आईसीयू की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध करवाई गई थी। इसके अतिरिक्त समागम स्थल पर तीन स्थानों पर होम्योपैथी डिस्पेंसरी की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई थी जिसमें रोजाना 3 से 4 हजार जरुरतमंद श्रद्धालु लाभ प्राप्त कर रहे थे। समागम स्थल पर 11 एम्बुलेंस रखी गई थी। वाय.सी.एम.ए.अस्पताल और डी.वाय.पाटिल  अस्पताल द्वारा भी अपनी डिस्पेन्सरीज की सेवायें उपलब्ध कराई गई थी। इन डिस्पेंसरियों में 282 डॉक्टर्स की टीम एवं लगभग 450 सेवादल स्वयंसेवक अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे थे।

 

लंगर

            समागम में आने वाले सभी श्रद्धालुओं के लिए निःशुल्क लंगर की व्यवस्था तीन स्थानों पर  की गई थी जिसमें सतगुरु प्रवचन के के अलावा 24 घंटे लंगर उपलब्ध किया जा रहा था। इस लंगर व्यवस्था में 72 क्विंटल चावल एक ही समय पर पकाने की क्षमता थी। 70 हजार श्रद्धालु एक ही समय भोजन कर सकते थे। इसके अतिरिक्त अत्यधिक रियायति दरों पर 4 कॅन्टीन्स  की व्यवस्था की गई थी जिसमें अल्पाहार, मिनरल वाॅटर एवं चाय-काॅफी इत्यादि सामग्री प्राप्त हो रही थी।

Mohali, Jan.27, 2025:- Doctors at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, performed a lifesaving Whipple surgery on a 50 years old patient Vikramjit, Singh from Amritsar, who was suffering from deep jaundice and a tumour in stomach and small intestine.

The surgery was performed by Dr Manmohan Bedi, Associate Director Department of General Surgery, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, and his multidisciplinary team of doctors.

Vikramjit Singh was brought to Max Hospital, Mohali, in a critically deteriorating condition. He was suffering from yellowish discoloration of his eyes. After careful evaluation it was revealed, he was diagnosed with deep jaundice which led to further evaluation of the patient and disclosed a tumour in the duodenum (small intestine). The biopsy was taken from the tumour to determine its nature.

In addition, Vikramjit Singh's condition continued to deteriorate further, he started to pass blood through motion thus causing a dangerous fall in his blood pressure level due to continuous bleeding from the affected intestine, all efforts to stop the bleeding failed despite repeated endoscopy and efforts through interventional radiology. Furthermore, his haemoglobin dropped down to 3 grams despite transfusing 20 units of blood. The drugs to maintain the blood pressure too failed to maintain the level.

Commenting upon the complex case, Dr Manmohan Bedi Associate Director Department of General Surgery, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali said that the surgery was extremely challenging and complex. It required the removal of the bleeding part of the intestine, along with a major portion of the head of the pancreas, the lower end of the common bile duct, and part of the stomach, to control the bleeding.

Given the poor health condition of the patient, which was deteriorating with time, the surgical option was opted for by the patient by understanding the high complications of the case.

Further, Dr Bedi added that the major challenge in this highly complex surgery was the patient's critical condition and administering anaesthesia to maintain stability during the procedure, ensuring the removal of the affected organs with minimal blood loss.

Post-surgery, the ICU critical care team took over, providing the patient with blood transfusions and other blood products—platelets, plasma, and SSE—to correct any abnormalities. The patient was gradually taken down from the ventilator, and the endotracheal tube was removed on the fourth day after the reconstruction procedure. On the fifth day, the patient underwent reconstruction of the digestive tract, which was successfully completed, and the abdomen was closed. He began taking oral feeds the very next day and was moved to the general ward on the seventh day.

With a good diet and physiotherapy, the patient made a remarkable recovery and was discharged in stable condition on the eleventh day following surgery.

The surgery highlighted the exceptional teamwork and medical expertise of the surgeons, anaesthetists, and critical care team at Max Hospital, who successfully restored the patient's health by reconstructing the digestive pathway after removing the affected parts of the intestine and vital organs in the stomach.

Speaking during an awareness talk on heart health in winter, Dr. Ishtiyaq Masood interventional cardiologist at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Bathinda said that in the first few hours after waking up, the shock of getting out of a warm bed into the cold can lead to a sudden spike in blood pressure, which can be dangerous for heart patients.

It is essential to be extra cautious during this time and take preventive measures to maintain the heart healthy, Dr. Masood informed.

Dr. Masood further explained that winter often causes blood pressure to rise, so it's essential to keep track of your readings. The regular check-ups are recommended, especially for those with hypertension or a family history of heart disease. Recognise symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or palpitations. If any of these occur, seek medical attention immediately, he asserted.

Dr. Masood also highlighted the importance of early detection and timely medical intervention for individuals with a family history of heart disease or those who already have risk factors such as high cholesterol, diabetes, or smoking.

Regular check-ups with a healthcare provider can help identify potential issues before they become serious health threats, he advised.

1.    Layering: Layering clothes helps the body to retain its body heat and prevents the body from becoming too cold, which leads to reducing the strain on the heart.

Mohali, Jan.27, 2025:- लोगों को बेंजीन के हानिकारक प्रभावों से बचाने के उद्देश्य से, मोहाली नगर निगम के सहयोग से पाओस इंडस्ट्रीज का प्रमुख राज सोप ने आज 'बेंजीन-फ्री भारत' पहल की शुरुआत की। इस नई पहल का उद्देश्य सभी लोगों में बेंजीन के खतरों के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना है, जिसको 'लीनियर अल्काइल बेंजीन सल्फोनिक एसिड (एलएबीएसए)' से लिया जाता है, और ये कई बर्तन धोने वाले साबुन और तरल पदार्थों में पाया जाने वाला एक सामान्य सर्फेक्टेंट है। एलएबीएसए को कैमिकल प्रोसेस के माध्यम से बेंजीन से प्राप्त किया जाता है। 

'बेंजीन फ्री भारत' पहल के तहत मोहाली के सेक्टर 69 स्थित कम्युनिटी सेंटर में बेंजीन के दुष्प्रभावों पर जागरूकता सत्र आयोजित किया गया। इस सेशन के मुख्य अतिथि मोहाली के मेयर अमरजीत सिंह सिद्धू थे, जबकि मोहाली नगर निगम के आयुक्त टी. बेनिथ (आईएएस) गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर थे। इस दौरान उनके साथ मोहाली नगर निगम के असिस्टेंट कमिश्नर राजीव कुमार तथा जॉइंट कमिश्नर, मोहाली दीपांकर गर्ग (पीसीएस) भी उपस्थित थे। 

यह उल्लेखनीय है कि भारत में डिटर्जेंट निर्माता अपने उत्पादों में एलएबीएसए का उपयोग कर रहे हैं, जबकि बेंजीन को विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) द्वारा कार्सिनोजेन के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया गया है। 

संजीव बंसल, मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर, पाओस इंडस्ट्रीज ने कहा कि सफाई उत्पादों में झाग बनाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाने वाला बेंजीन स्वास्थ्य को लेकर कई तरह के गंभीर खतरे पैदा करता है, जिसमें एक्जिमा, चकत्ते और छाले जैसी त्वचा संबंधी समस्याएं शामिल हैं। लंबे समय तक इसके संपर्क में रहने से कैंसर भी हो सकता है, क्योंकि इन उत्पादों से साफ किए गए बर्तनों के माध्यम से बेंजीन के अंश मानव शरीर में प्रवेश कर सकते हैं।

उन्होंने बताया कि पाओस में हमारा मिशन स्वस्थ, सुरक्षित और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल सफाई समाधान बनाना है। इस पहल के माध्यम से, हमारा लक्ष्य डिटर्जेंट में बेंजीन के उपयोग को खत्म करना है और इंडस्ट्री, सरकार और नागरिकों से इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्य में हमारे साथ जुड़ने का आग्रह करना है। समस्या का समाधान सुझाने के लिए पूछे जाने पर बंसल ने कहा कि निर्माताओं द्वारा इसका उपयोग बंद करने के लिए नैतिक तौर पर कदम उठाना समय की मांग है और उन्हें अपने उत्पादों में एलएबीएसए का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा, "बाजार में हमारे सभी उत्पाद एलएबीएसए फ्री हैं क्योंकि हम प्राकृतिक तेलों का उपयोग करते हैं।उन्होंने कहा कि बीआईएस को बेंज़ीन को प्रतिबंध लगाना चाहिए, और सरकार इस पर कोई कार्यवाही नही करती तो हम सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाएंगे।

अमरजीत सिंह सिद्धू, मेयर, नगर निगम, मोहाली ने कहा कि मुझे बताया गया है कि कई स्टडी और रिसर्च पेपर्स से पता चलता है कि बेंजीन और इसके डेरिवेटिव का उपयोग हमारे स्वास्थ्य के लिए कितना हानिकारक है, और इसलिए भारत को इससे बचाने की आवश्यकता है। मोहाली नगर निगम ने 'बेंजीन फ्री भारत' जागरूकता अभियान में भाग लिया, क्योंकि उन्हें पता चला कि कैसे कुछ डिटर्जेंट उत्पाद लोगों के स्वास्थ्य के साथ खिलवाड़ कर रहे हैं। मुझे यकीन है कि इस अभियान को लोगों का समर्थन मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि बेंजीन-फ्री भारत अभियान हमारे नागरिकों के लिए एक स्वस्थ और सुरक्षित वातावरण बनाने के हमारे लक्ष्य के अनुरूप है।

इस मौके पर टी.बेनिथ, कमिश्नर, (आईएएस), मोहाली नगर निगम ने कहा कि सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य हमारी प्राथमिकता है, और बेंजीन के जोखिमों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना सही दिशा में एक कदम है।

इस सेशन में विशेषज्ञों द्वारा बेंजीन के मानव स्वास्थ्य को नुकसान पहुंचाने और इस समस्या से निपटने के लिए उपलब्ध समाधानों पर विचार दिए। सेशन में भाग लेने वाले लोगों को डब्ल्यूएचओ द्वारा बेंजीन को स्वास्थ्य के लिए खतरा बताए जाने से संबंधित एक वेब-लिंक के अस्तित्व के बारे में बताया गया। इसके अलावा, विशेषज्ञों ने सभी मौजूद लोगों को बताया कि जापान, नेशनल कैंसर इंस्टीट्यूट और अमेरिकन कैंसर सोसाइटी के रिसर्च पेपर्स के लिंक भी इंटरनेट पर उपलब्ध हैं।
