Deepti left a plum position as an investment banker in London to follow her heart and take up as a career - her passion –modeling, acting, and singing. After winning many beauty pageants, playing a role in the famous TV series 'Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma' & hosting laughter reality show–Hasya Samrat', Deepti is now seen shaking a leg with Bollywood rapper  Badshah and singer Fazilpuria in the duo's latest offering to the music world - 'Haryana Roadways'.

The multi-talented actor-singer Deepti Sadhwani's sizzling moves and a killer hot Haryanvi avatar has upped the glamour quotient of the single, which has been launched under the banner of Sony Music and has been produced by Deepak Nandal.

Asked about her look in the song, Deepti said that this is the first time that she has donned the look of a typical desi 'Haryanvi girl' wearing a loud lehnga and he really liked the attire & the makeup. In the song,  she has donned different looks. Her first look is that of a Haryanvi girl and her second one is that of a glamorous bus conductor in which Badshah and Fazilpuria are driving the Haryana roadways bus. In fact, this was the most memorable scene of her shoot.

The song was filmed in Chandigarh, Panchkula & Mohali during the lockdown.  

Deepti added that it was fun to be back on shoot after a long gap. The icing on the cake was working with Badshah & Fazilpuria, two amazingly talented people in the entertainment industry. There were many challenges we faced while shooting during the lockdown, but am happy that with the intense safety measures we took, COVID was kept at bay.

Sharing more details about the song Deepti said that the song-title 'Haryana Roadways' depicts the loud and colourful Haryanvi culture, & the song is actually popularizing the rich culture of the state. The Badshah & Fazilpuria duo has worked magic and the result is a fun-filled song which is a combination of desi flavour & modern beats.

It is noteworthy that soon after completing the song with Badshah and Fazilpuria, Deepti was offered the track "Toot Jaayein" as the lead actress. Composed by Vishal Mishra and directed by Arvind Khaira, the song is sung by Nishawn Bhullar, is releasing on Clik Record.

In her next project, the actress will be seen singing and featuring in a dancing number with Meet Bros. Another upcoming project is with Mika Singh- which is a fast beat Punjabi - Hindi number where she is singing and will feature in the track, with Mika Singh rapping in the song. What's more, there are 4-5 more songs which are to be shot and released with Zee Music and T series soon.

Princepal Singh Becomes First Nba Academy Graduate to Sign With NBA G League

Chandigarh July 29, 2020:- NBA Academy graduate Princepal Singh, a 6-10 forward from Punjab, India, has signed to play in the NBA G League next season, it was announced today by NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim.  Singh, who will train and compete alongside the new G League team featuring elite youth prospects, is the first NBA Academy graduate to sign with the NBA G League and first NBA Academy India graduate to sign a professional contract.

 Singh, who started playing basketball at the Ludhiana Basketball Academy, joined The NBA Academy India in 2017, an elite basketball training center in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) for the top prospects from throughout India, as part of the academy's inaugural class of student-athletes identified through the ACG-NBA Jump Program.  In November 2018, Singh transitioned to The NBA Global Academy – the league's hub for top male and female prospects from outside the U.S. – in Canberra, Australia, where he continued his development before graduating this spring.   

Abdur-Rahim said that we are thrilled to be able to offer Princepal the opportunity to begin his professional basketball journey in the NBA G League.  He added that we've long hoped that our development pathway for elite high school players would include roster spots for emerging international talent, including players who have participated in the NBA Academy program, and we're excited to have Princepal forge this new path and develop his skills in our league.

Launches and Sales Decline Significantly in Q2 as the Pandemic Significantly impacted the Sector: PropTiger Report

New Delhi July 29, 2020: Amid projections of India's economy taking a severe beating on account of the coronavirus-induced health and financial crisis, new launches and housing sales declined significantly in the country's eight prime residential markets during the April-June period, a quarterly analysis by real estate brokerage firm PropTiger.com shows.

The report, however, indicates that the pandemic has spurred a big change as far as the closing of real estate transactions is concerned. More and more buyers switched to digital channels for their future purchases due to the lockdown amid real estate gaining prominence as a preferred asset class as huge volatility in other investment options, in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.

The following cities were covered in the analysis: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi-NCR (Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad), the MMR (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane) and Pune.

According to the report titled Real Insight: Q2 2020, housing sales in the three months period, with most of these cities in either a partial or full lockdown phase, dipped 79% over the same period last year. As against 92,764 units in Q2 2019, only 19,038 units were sold during April-June this year. Affordable housing (units priced up to Rs 45 lakh) continued to dominate the real-estate sector.

New launches also decreased significantly during this period as developers remained cautious during a period when commercial activity across sectors slowed down. The decline in launches continues the trend that we have seen over the last six quarters starting Q1'19.  Launches decreased 81% during the quarter ending June 30 to 12.564 units.  The first half of this calendar year showed a similar declined with a 65% dip in new launches.  Launches declined significantly across cities, especially in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Chennai.

Mani Rangarajan, Group COO, Housing.com, Makaan.com & PropTiger.com said that the current pandemic is an unprecedented Black Swan event that is expected to contract growth in the global economy, including that of India.  As anticipated, demand was adversely impacted due to economic uncertainty combined with growing unemployment; in fact, our recent Housing-NAREDCO buyer survey indicated buyers have pushed back their purchasing decision upto a year.   While, developers are increasingly offering schemes such as flexible payment plans, selective discounts and price protection plans to attract buyers, developers are understandably cautious and are focused on completing existing projects.  In fact, delivery of existing projects may get pushed back depending on how quickly supply-chain, labour availability and liquidity inflows are restored.  We are unlikely to see new launches increase significantly for the next few quarters as developers wait for demand revival and augment their cash flows through sales of existing units.    Notwithstanding these lackluster results, buyers continue to affirm their faith in real estate as an asset class with over a third of our surveyed buyers choosing it as their preferred form of investment.

Rangarajan further added ghati n the positive side, we are seeing increasing digitization of real estate with significant growth in online demand and developers and buyers moving strongly along the adoption curve for products such as virtual tours, drone shoots, video calls, and online booking platforms.  More than 90% of all real estate search and discovery has moved online.  We may be seeing a significant shift in the real-estate sector where technology will play a significant role in the property renting and buying process and property registration may move online in some states.  While physical site visits will remain important, buyers will use technology to discover new homes, experience virtual site visits with some buyers booking online.  Given social distancing and the use of technology, buyers will likely make fewer site visits than before.

विश्व हेपेटाइटिस दिवस के अवसर पर, डॉ.अरविंद साहनी, डायरेक्टर, गैस्ट्रोएंटरोलॉजी और हेपेटोलॉजी, फोर्टिस अस्पताल, मोहाली ने एक एडवाइजरी में कहा कि हेपेटाइटिस बी और सी के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षित रक्त और रक्त प्रोडक्ट्स का ही उपयोग जरूरी है। हमें 100 प्रतिशत स्वैच्छिक रक्त दान और किसी भी कमर्शियल रक्त दाताओं को अनुमति नहीं दी जानी चाहिए। हेपेटाइटिस बी और सी के लिए प्रत्येक रक्त यूनिट का टेस्ट किया जाना चाहिए और हमें दोबारा उपयोग में ना लाई जा सकने वाली सीरिंजज का उपयोग करना चाहिए और सुरक्षित इंजेक्शन प्रेक्ट्सि का ही उपयोग करना चाहिए।
वायरल हेपेटाइटिस एक वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य समस्या है जो भारत में महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र पर एक बड़ा बोझ है। यह तेज से लिवर को फेल करता है, लिवर सिरोसिस और लिवर कैंसर का कारण बनता है। डॉक्टर साहनी ने कहा कि इन वायरसों में हेपेटाइटिस ए, हेपेटाइटिस बी, हेपेटाइटिस सी, हेपेटाइटिस डी और हेपेटाइटिस ई शामिल हैं। हेपेटाइटिस ए और ई दूषित पानी और भोजन द्वारा प्रेषित होते हैं, हेपेटाइटिस बी और सी रक्त जनित वायरस हैं जो दूषित रक्त, रक्त उत्पाद, दूषित सुई सीरिंज आदि के माध्यम से फैलते हैं।
हेपेटाइटिस ए और ई, लिवर सिरोसिस और लिवर कैंसर के रूप में स्थायी तौर पर लिवर क्षति का कारण नहीं बनते हैं, जो हेपेटाइटिस बी और सी के कारण हो सकता है। भारत में हेपेटाइटिस बी के लगभग 40 मिलियन और हेपेटाइटिस सी के 6-12 मिलियन मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं।
डॉ.साहनी ने कहा कि हेपेटाइटिस ए और ई के सटीक प्रसार का अनुमान लगाना मुश्किल है। हेपेटाइटिस ए के मामले की मृत्यु दर उम्र से संबंधित है और इसका औसत 0.3 प्रतिशत है, जबकि 50 वर्ष की आयु में मृत्यु दर लगभग 5 गुना अधिक है। हेपेटाइटिस ई के कारण गर्भावस्था में मृत्यु दर बहुत अधिक है जो 15-25 प्रतिशत तक है।
उन्होंने कहा कि स्वच्छता के बारे में सामान्य जागरूकता, पानी को उबलना, कटे और खुले खाद्य पदार्थों से परहेज, खुले में शौच को खत्म करना और आधुनिक तकनीकों के माध्यम से नगरपालिका के ठोस कचरे का प्रबंधन करने आदि के कई सारे उपायों से हेपेटाइटिस ए और ई के प्रसार को रोकने में मदद मिलती है।
सभी गर्भवती महिलाओं, सभी नवजात शिशुओं, सभी हेल्थकेयर वर्कर्स और डायलिसिस रोगियों, जेल के कैदियों, विभिन्न वयस्कों जैसे विभिन्न उच्च जोखिम वाली आबादी के लिए हेपेटाइटिस बी से सुरक्षा के लिए वैक्सीनेशन को किया जाना चाहिए। हेपेटाइटिस बी के टीके की तीन डोज की जरूरत होती है। डब्ल्यूएचओ हेपेटाइटिस बी के टीके के लिए कोई आयु छूट के साथ सभी के लिए व्यापक टीकाकरण की सिफ ारिश करता है। हेपेटाइटिस सी के खिलाफ  कोई वैक्सीनेशन नहीं है। हेपेटाइटिस ए को हेपेटाइटिस ए की 2 डोज से रोका जा सकता है।
