Pranit Bhatt aka Genie of the Ring Possesses the People of Baghdad on Sony SAB’s Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga

Chandigarh 28^th Feb, 2019:- Sony SAB's Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga has garnered immense love and appreciation from the audiences due to its fascinating and gripping storyline. The show has reached another level with the unveiling of the Genie of the Ring (Pranit Bhatt).

While Genie of the Ring, Aladdin (Siddharth Nigam) and Ginu (Raashul Tandon) come face to face for the first time, Genie of the Ring threatens Ginu to destroy his family and Baghdad for supporting Aladdin. This leads to him possessing people of Baghdad and causing terror amongst them. On one hand, the entire city suspects the presence of an evil entity whereas on the other hand, Omar (Gireesh Sahedev) and Aladdin start training Ginu in order to save him and everyone else from the wrath of Genie of the Ring. However, with all this havoc, Ginu is worried about his identity being revealed in front of Ammi (Smita Bansal) and the others.

Raashul Tandon, playing the role of Ginu said that Ginu discovered Genie of the Ring to be his brother but has now been challenged by him of being destroyed, along with the city of Baghdad. As Ginu prepares to fight him, it will be extremely thrilling for the audiences to watch as their beloved Ginu tries to save his family and the city. What events unfold as Genie of the Ring and Ginu prepare for the fight is going to have the viewers glued to their screens.

 

Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Per Hain Introduces a New Character-Lotey

Chandigarh 28^th Feb, 2019:- Sony SAB's light-hearted comedy 'Jijaji Chhat Par hain' has kept its viewers hooked with the extremely hilarious events that unfold in the show. Adding to the drama and comedy, the show introduced a new character Lotey (Rajeev Pandey), Chhote's (Yogesh Tripathi) brother. 

Lotey enters as a masseur, extremely slow and unwilling towards his profession. However, as he comes to stay with his brother Chhote, who owns a salon, he starts getting along with people of Chandni chowk and gives them massage. Although not good at his work, Murari (Anup Upadhyay) only tolerates Lotey because of his relation with Chhote and believes he will someday learn how to massage well. Little does anyone know that Lotey has his eyes on Pancham's (Nikhil Khurana) job and wants to be a salesman at Murari's shop.

Talking about his quirky role, Rajeev Pandey said that he has been associated with Sony SAB previously and it is an amazing feeling to be a part of the SAB family again. In Jijaji Chhat per Hain, He is essaying the role of Lotey, this character will bring some hilarious and unexpected turns in the future. It is so much fun shooting with the entire cast as all of them are so talented and hard working. As an audience, he has always loved watching Jijaji Chhat per Hain. He hopes the viewers continue to give the same amount of love and affection to Lotey like they did for his other characters.

One Day Capacity Building Workshop on ‘Space Science and Technology’ Held at GGSCW

Chandigarh 28^th Feb, 2019:- The Science Department of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh organized a One Day Capacity Building Workshop on 'Space Science and Technology' under the aegis of RUSA on February 28^th, 2019.

The Resource Person for the occasion was Dr. Sahijpal, Professor, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The main aim of the workshop was to apprise the participants of the basic concepts and recent developments in Space Science and India's contribution in this field. Dr Sahijpal guided the students regarding various career options in Astrophysics and Astronomy.

Dr Ashok Sharma, Professor, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the resource person for the 2^nd session of the workshop. He conducted various science related creative activities.

Around 140 participants took part in the workshop which included students and faculty members from different colleges.

India Has Acute Shortage of Healthcare Managers: Chandigarh Needs 62% More Healthcare Providers: Dr. Sanjiv Kumar

Chandigarh 27^th Feb, 2019:- While India has made progress in its health indicators, it needs to strengthen its existing health services and add more professionals especially in rural areas, said IIHMR Delhi Director, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar today.

Dr Sanjiv Kumar stressed that the Health scenario in India has changed. Of about 1 crore deaths in India in a year, 60 lakhs are due to cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes etc. Another 12 lakhs die of injuries and accidents. Maternal child health and infectious diseases account for the remaining 28 lakhs.The coverage by various interventions for these conditions need to increase.

The 4^th National Family Health Survey shows that while Chandigarh has succeeded in improving its health indicators, the current situation leaves a lot more room for improvement.

Similarly, 1 in 2 women receive post-natal services, a significant improvement over the 1 in 7 women that received these services in 2006-07.

IIHMR Delhi recommends that the number of health personnel in primary and secondary healthcare system should be as per the NHM guidelines and an increased health budget should be twice of existing health budget over the next 5 years.

Dr. Sanjiv Kumar also said that 50% dependency on private hospitals by urban population is adding to the healthcare bill and needs to be tackled.

According to National Health Profile-2018, Chandigarh has Rsl354 per capita health expenditure. It is lower in compare with national average.

Highlighting issues that plague the healthcare system Dr. Sanjiv Kumar, Director IIHMR Delhi said that there are problems of access, quality, lack of feedback from end users and continuum of care, especially in non-communicable disease like cardio vascular diseases, cancer, diabetes and hypertension which constitute 60% of the death burden.

The lnternational lnstitute of Health Management Research, New Delhi was setup in 2008 to cater to the growing needs in the country. The institute undertakes capacity building of health professionals in a big way through the executives training programs. Till now, 700 have been trained and all of them got placed. Institute has successfully completed more than 50 research projects and 300 plus training programmes both at national and international levels.

He added that Institutions like IIHMR provide trained manpower in health, health IT and hospital management. Many problems arise because healthcare systems are not managed well. We, need people who are qualified and trained as hospital managers and who can take care of management related issues so that doctors can focus on providing clinical care which they are trained for.
