Chandigarh 28^th June:- It seems that the monsoons have not only brought us relief from the scorching heat, but also a lot of ailments.  The latest victim of the "Monsoon fever" is the actress, Trishikha Ashish Tripathi A.K.A. Chuhiya of Chidiya Ghar.

Trishika Tripathi was down with a high fever when she had to shoot a Naagin dance sequence in the show. She was so weak that she had no energy to even stand properly. Still, within a few minutes, she completed her shoot and managed to perform the song of the movie 'Naagin', 'Tere Pyar Mein Nahi Todna'.

Commenting on the same, Trishikha said that she was down with high fever and it was really difficult for her to actually perform. But, with the extreme help of her team, She managed to complete the shoot. The entire unit supported and helped her out to complete it flawlessly. And as it is said, work should go on. She glad that she could complete the scene on time.

 

Shahwar Ali Inspired by Big B and Kishore Da for His Look in Amma

Chandigarh 28^th June:- Renowned model & actor Shahwar Ali, who is making his fiction television debut with Zee TV's 'Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma' has left no stone unturned in ensuring that he is extremely convincing as his character Parvez , an upright lawyer from the 60's. The actor has been working on the minutest details to make his look as perfect as possible. Keeping in mind that the show is set in the post partition era, the suave actor has styled his look on the trademark styles of Bollywood stalwarts-Kishore Kumar & Amitabh Bachchan. 

Shahwar shared that off screen, Kishore Kumar used to wear square rimmed glasses which he incorporated in his look as Parvez in the show, however, it is rare to find those kinds of glasses and he got them especially from Hyderabad. He had also tried to copy his hairstyle, but the side locks have been inspired from Amitabh Bachchan. Along with that he had a discussion with the creative team about the costumes to bring out the authenticity of that era without going over the top as getting the look right is like half the battle won. He is thoroughly enjoying sporting the classic bell bottoms, chequered shirts  & formal suits. He is sure that it will definitely transport the viewers to that era.

Shahwar added that he is all the more excited, as after a long time he is getting to portray a positive character as Parvez – an upright lawyer who helps Zeenat fight for her rights. The actor who has been part of several South & Hindi films, said that he don't find much difference between shooting for a film and fiction show, what matters is the script and his character and that's the reason he chose to do this show.

Produced by Salt Media LLP, the show marks the television debut of film actor Urvashi Sharma (Raina Joshi) essaying the author -backed title role. Seen for the very first time in a de-glam avatar, the actor has gone to great lengths to prepare for the role. The show also boasts of an ensemble star cast with stalwarts like Aman Verma in a never-before-seen avatar of a South Indian don Shekhran Shetty, film actor Nawab Shah makes a comeback to television as Haider, a dreaded underworld don who believes in action rather than words. Noted for his hard-hitting performances, Deepraj Rana will be seen as Kabeer Lal, a shrewd and strategic, power-hungry don from the Middle East. The renowned Nasir Khan Walker makes a comeback as Abas Shaikh, Zeenat's husband who deserts her in the course of partition. Also seen in the show are Sonali Singh, a Mumbai-based politician making her first appearance on a TV show as Haider's wife Fatima and Jeetu Verma as a corrupt cop Inspector Prajapati whose atrocities ignite the spark of rebellion inside Zeenat.

The show is being shot at Ramoji Film City, Hyderbabad on a film camera in a film format to give the show the canvas and scale of a larger-than-life blockbuster. Not only are the actors of the show closely associated with films but even its technical crew and creative team have strong film backgrounds. The multi-layered sets that depict five distinct decades have been designed by art director Tariq Khan noted for his work in 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. The costumes, jewelry and other accessories have been designed and created in-house by stylist Ajay Kumar who has worked across opulent dramas like 'Ram Leela', 'Bajirao Mastaani' and 'Phantom'. The dialogue for the show is penned by Aloke Upadhya who has assisted the direction of Salman Khan films like Dabangg 2, Partner and Jai Ho. The talented Kingshuk Chakravrthi is credited with the show's impactful music and background score.

Interacting with the CII delegation,HE Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor, Haryana, Punjab & Administrator, U T Chandigarh highly appreciated CII's role in socio economic ecosystem of the region and in ensuring that the industry and societal balance continues to be vibrant and value accretive.

The visit was aimed to further strengthen CII's connect with the government and administration in terms of its CII Chandigarh's objectives for 2016-17 namely smart city project, City Connect Forum, start-ups, entrepreneurial development, education & skill development, healthcare, ease of doing business and socio economic initiatives.

CII already has a MoU with Chandigarh Administration for smart city and the process will further rollout once the Chandigarh SPV is in place. CII reaffirms its complete commitment to Chandigarh Administration to work together & ensure that Chandigarh becomes the 'Smartest City' in India & later on in the world.  

Rumjhum Chatterjee apprised that CII has been instrumental in establishing City-Connect forum in several cities, including Bangalore, Chennai, Pune etc.  City-connect forums are industry led initiatives where prominent citizens of the city are brought on a common platform to help and support urban local bodies and municipal commission in planning, execution and monitoring of projects as well as delivery of services and is keen to establish the Chandigarh City Connect Forum.

Chandigarh 28^th June:- Neeraj Sharda and Sudhanshu Goyal who are management graduates from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta have joined hands and launched two unique initiatives as part of their broad vision of transforming the offline advertising market. Their first solution is Chikoop which is an audio mobile marketing solution for all phones. Their second initiative is 8Hoarding is a revolutionary venture leading the much desired change in the way outdoor advertising industry work in India. It leverages big data intelligence, sophisticated mathematical models and inputs of advertising veterans to help brands select the right outdoor media for their campaigns.

Neeraj- Co-founder and CSO at the venture said that Indian businesses are adopting the online way of doing things and rightly so, but in a country like ours one cannot really discard the offline ways so early. They still hold the key to success given we leverage the power of technology and big data analytics to make them smarter.

Neeraj Sharda is a management graduate from IIM Calcutta and an Electrical Engineering graduate from IIT Bombay. He has been a star in academics since his early school years, achieving state ranks in Class 10th and 12th and securing place on Institute's Honor Roll of IIM Calcutta. Neeraj has worked as strategy consultant with Bain & Co. and Tata Strategy Management Group.

Sudhanshu, Co-founder and CEO at the venture elaborates said that there are two ways to launch a successful venture: delivering MVP with focus on quick initial traction or work out the product in detail before looking to grow. We chose the second path as we see hundreds of startups everyday making debut with a weak offering and fading away in a short span of time. We believe that more than the early mover's advantage, it is about delivering a masterpiece which users fall in love with.

Sudhanshu Goyal who is also an IIM Caclutta graduate of 2015 batch has already served as CEO of a prominent manufacturing firm in steel industry. He joined his family business struggling against Global Recession of 2008, after dropping out from a premier Institute to help his father and led its turnaround at an early age of 18. Sudhanshu said that the contrasting backgrounds of me and Neeraj led to long and aggressive debates nights after nights during product conceptualization but now we realize that it has helped create a sophisticated offering as both of us approach things from two different angles and then converge to an understanding with the virtues of both.

 Sudhanshu points out that this is just the beginning. We have identified a number of opportunities in offline marketing, each having a highly attractive market. We are ambitious and have sketched out a long-run roadmap to address them.

Chandigarh 28^th June:- कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं विधायक कुलदीप बिश्नोई ने कहा कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाज़ारों में कच्चे तेल की कीमतें लगातार गिर रही हैं, बावजूद इसके हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा बसों के किराये में 12 प्रतिशत इजाफा करना जनता के साथ ज्यादति है। एक के बाद एक जनविरोधी फैसले थोपकर भाजपा लोगों को खूब अच्छे दिन दिखला रही है। रोडवेज में हो रहा घाटा प्रदेश सरकार के कुप्रबंधन का नतीजा है। इस घाटे को पूरा करने के लिए दूरदर्शी ठोस योजनाओं की जरूरत है न कि यात्रियों पर भार डालना। कुलदीप बिश्नोई ने कहा कि जननायक स्व. चौ. भजनलाल के कांग्रेस शासनकाल में ठोस योजनाओं के बलबूते पर प्रदेश का परिवहन विभाग सुदृढ़ हुआ था। भाजपा सरकार के पास न तो दूरदर्शी सोच हैं और न ही प्रदेश के विकास के लिए ठोस योजनाएं। राज्य में चाहे बिजली विभाग हो या फिर परिवहन विभाग सरकार की लचर कार्यप्रणाली के चलते निरंतर घाटे की ओर जा रहे हैं। 

 

SBI Organizes Town Hall Meetings Across the Country To Commemorate Its 210th Anniversary

Chandigarh 28^th June:- To commemorate the occasion of completing 210 years this month and to reaffirm its commitment to customers, SBI held over 600 Town Hall Meetings across the country on 28.06.2016 covering Tehsil Head Quarters besides all Local Head Office, Zonal Office and Regional Office Centres - a unique initiative not done earlier on this scale. It was an open invitation for customers and general public alike to participate in the meeting and share their experience and expectations of SBI which would help the bank enhance its customer service. As a part of this series of meetings, one such meeting was held at North Block Hall of SBI, Local Head Office, Sector 17 A, Chandigarh.  Approx. 150 citizens of Chandigarh attended the meeting. Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager, SBI Chandigarh addressed the gathering.

In his address, Anil Kishora said that the Bank is committed to achieving excellence in customer service. In this quest, it is constantly exploring new ways and channels to render an enriched and empowered experience to its customers. He dwelled upon a number of technology enabled facilities such as SBI Quick, State Bank Samadhan, SWAYAM, E-Corners, SBI INTOUCH branches, Online complaint management system etc. to mention a few, to provide round the clock service/access to the bank. The Bank's Net Banking site is one of the most visited sites globally. The Bank also is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and has a well enunciated policy to contribute to society consistently. The Bank has won many Awards at national and international level. The Bank recently won the "CIBIL Data Quality" Award 2016 for Best Quality Data and "Best Customer Experience Banking" Award instituted by the World Quality Congress & Awards. An open session followed where many customers shared their experience banking with SBI and gave their invaluable suggestions and feedback.

Concluding the meeting, Venkatesh S Bhardwaj, General Manager, NW-I, SBI, Chandigarh thanked the customers for their valuable suggestions and said that the feedback would help in designing new products and making improvements to existing services. This initiative of the bank to provide a platform for customers and general public to share their experience would be a continuous one and that it would be the endeavour of the bank to hold such meetings every quarter.

 

Webmob Information Systems Launch Android Based App Watch-out'

Chandigarh 28^th June:- An Android based app called 'Watch-out' was today launched at Chandigarh Press Club, Sector 27. This Android based mobile app has been developed by Webmob Information Systems. This Mobile app will alert the drivers 500 meters before they approach accident prone areas popularly called as Black Spots. 

Addressing media persons, Nitin Gupta, CEO of Webmob Information systems said that black spots all over the tricity are responsible for numerous deaths in Tricity. He said that this app will help in reducing number of deaths at black spots identified by concerned   authorities of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. As per information provided by the authorities, there are 15 black spots in Chandigarh, around 20 in Mohali and 7 in Panchkula. So if we count the total black spots in tricity the number comes out to be 42.

Nitin said that with the launch of this app initially at least 10-20 percent fatalities would come down. He further added that this android app can be downloaded free of cost from Google play store and is integrated with Google maps. When the person will approach 500 meters near the black spot, he will get a voice prompt cautioning him about the possible danger area. The app once started will run in the background.

He further said that the company has plans to launch this app all over India in coming months. He further added Watch-out is designed to keep people safe on roads by warning them about accident prone spots and areas

Max Super Specialty Hospital organizes Free Multispecialty Health Camp

Panchkula 28^th June:- Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali  organized free multispecialty health camp at Indusind Bank , Sector 9 , Panchkula today. As many as 110 people attended the camp.

A team of doctors including Dr Pushkin Sharma from orthopedics, Dr. Ravikant Takhi from general medicine, Dr Jaspreet Kaur from gynaecology and Dr. Neha Sharma from dietetics provided free consultations to people in the camp. In camp the free tests of blood sugar, bone mass densitometry, spirometry (lung function tests), PFT and ECG were also provided.

Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Dogra, Sr VP and Zonal Head, Max Hospitals Punjab said that we are committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to the less privileged people of the society. ਐਨ.ਕੇ. ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਜੂਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੋਂਦ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਸੇਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਝੂਠਾ ਰੌਲਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਕਈ 12 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਡੋਪ ਟੈਸਟ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਲੇਕਿਨ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਨੈਗੇਟਿਵ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ। ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਲਈ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਬਣਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪੂਰੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਠੋਸ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੋਪ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਟੈਸਟ ਬਾਬਾ ਫਰੀਦ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਐਨ.ਕੇ. ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ-ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 4.99 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਰੌਲਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਂ-ਸੀਮਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਨਅਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪਸੰਦੀਦਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।  ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ 1600 ਏਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਆਈ.ਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ 10 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੈਟ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਏਨੀ ਆਸਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਹੁਣ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਟ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਟ ਤੋਂ 19 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਆਮਦਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਜਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤੀ ਕਾਰਡ ਵੰਡਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਸਟਿੱਕਰ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਕਲੱਬ ਨੂੰ 02 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਗਰਾਂਟ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਖਤਿਆਰੀ ਫੰਡ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ. ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋਢੀ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀ ਆਇਆ ਆਖਿਆ ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਬੀਬੀ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਲਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਧ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੀਲੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਕਿੱਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੇ ਮੇਅਰ ਸ. ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੋਜੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਤਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀਆ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਭੁਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਫਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨਾ੍ਹਂ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਸੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪਹੀਏ ਹਨ। ਅਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਵਾਰਦਾਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰਨੂੰ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਬੁਲਾਰਾ ਯੂਥ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਸ. ਹਰਸੁਖਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੱਬੀ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਤਬਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਹੀ ਤੱਥ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰੇ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਜਥਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ. ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਪਾਲ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿਆਮੀਆਂ, ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚਿੱਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਵੈਸ਼ਨਵ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
