Chandigarh May 09, 2020:-Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, Chairman Property Consultant Association Chandigarh said that Government offices are open now & public dealing will start from 11 May (Monday) in Govt. offices of Chd.
We the members of Association seek some relaxation from Chandigarh Administration in the present situation when we all expecting a slowdown in property market after the lockdown. We have following requests to overcome the situation i.e.reduction in collector rates by 25% in Residential and 40% in commercial properties are available at less of the price of current collector rates. Reduce the stamp duty charges by 2% which will boost the morale of buyers. Convert commercial and industrial leasehold property to freehold with minimum conversion rates. Buyer can avail loan from bank and should be allowed floorwise registry in Residential & Commercial properties
He further said If all these relaxations will given by Administration it will be a win win situation for both public and Government as it will generate more revenue.
He urged the Hon'ble Governor of Punjab & Administrator Chandigarh to kindly look into the genuine demands and consider at earliest as it is the need of the hour
