Australia’s La Trobe University Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Indian Partnership

Chandigarh, Jan.31, 2025: La Trobe University Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Theo Farrell celebrated the enduring strength of the Australian institution's 30- year partnership with Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) during a visit in India today (31 January 2025).

Professor Farrell, who was joined on his visit by Victorian Commissioner to South Asia Michelle Wade, met with LSR Principal Professor Suman Sharma at the school's South Delhi campus to recognise the significant 30th anniversary milestone.

The partnership, one of La Trobe's longest standing in India, enables the exchange of students between the two institutions, provides LSR staff with professional development opportunities at La Trobe and supports opportunities in research and innovation.

Professor Farrell said La Trobe was proud of its continuing partnership with LSR as it aligned with the University's goals to build inclusive communities, advance academic excellence and lead transformative change.

Professor Farrell said that Lady Shri Ram College is one of the most highly respected and successful institutions in India and we value the relationship we have forged over the past 30 years. What began in a modest meeting room at La Trobe University in 1995, has flourished into one of our University's most enduring and successful international partnerships.

We look forward to developing and growing our partnership over the coming years as the two institutions continue to support women from diverse backgrounds to become tomorrow's leaders.

Professor Suman Sharma, Principal of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, extended a warm welcome to La Trobe's Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Theo Farrell and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Future Growth, Dr Stacey Farraway, and gave special thanks to Victorian Commissioner Michelle Wade for joining them in celebrating thirty years of partnership with La Trobe University.

"Commitment, integrity and exchange of knowledge besides students' welfare is the hallmark of our partnership with La Trobe," Professor Sharma said.

The long-standing partnership was renewed with fresh vigor in 2023. Among top universities which signed the bilateral Exchange Agreements, LSR was proud to be one of the Colleges which signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in presence of Hon'ble Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, Australian Education Minister Honourable Jason Clare, along with a senior delegation from the Education sector.

La Trobe's former Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Dewar, and I signed the Agreements marking the partnership between LSR and La Trobe. Today as we celebrate three decades of collaboration and exchange, we extend our commitment in the forthcoming years to education and multiculturalism in a global world.

अमारी हिल्स ने मोहाली पुलिस के साथ मिलकर पहला आधुनिक पुलिस बीट बॉक्स किया स्थापित

Mohali, Jan.31, 2025:-सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए, अमारी हिल्स,  मियापुर चंगेड़, न्यू चंडीगढ़ में मोहाली पुलिस के साथ मिलकर एक अत्याधुनिक आधुनिक पुलिस बीट बॉक्स स्थापित किया है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य लॉ एनफोर्समेंट इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर को सुदृढ़ करना और प्रभावी निगरानी सुनिश्चित करना है। इसका उद्घाटनडीआईजी (रोपड़ रेंज) हरचरन सिंह भुल्लर ने किया। इस दोरान उनके साथ एसएसपी मोहाली, दीपक पारीक भी  मौजूद थे।

डीआईजी हरचरन सिंह भुल्लर ने कहा कि यह पहल बहुत सहायक साबित होगी और भविष्य में ऐसे और बूथ स्थापित किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि मोहाली को इस माध्यम से एक मॉडल जिला बनाया जाएगा, जहां सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और अधिक मजबूत किया जाएगा।  

उन्होंने कहा कि हर गांव को इस योजना के तहत कवर किया गया है, जिससे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सकेगी। इसके अलावा, पीसीआर (पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम) वैन इन बूथों पर रुककर गश्त कर सकेंगी, जिससे सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और प्रभावी बनाया जा सकेगा।  

डीआईजी भुल्लर ने यह भी बताया कि अपराधियों पर कड़ी नजर रखी जाएगी और इन बूथों की मदद से जांच कार्यों में भी सहूलियत मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले की सीमाओं पर इन बूथों की मौजूदगी से अपराधों पर नियंत्रण रखने में सहायता मिलेगी और यह परियोजना पूरे जिले के लिए लाभदायक साबित होगी।  

इसके साथ ही, सीसीटीवी कैमरों के माध्यम से पूरे क्षेत्र की निगरानी की जाएगी, जिससे सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाया जा सकेगा।

एसएसपी मोहाली, दीपक पारीक ने सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा बनाए रखने में आधुनिक पुलिसिंग उपकरणों के महत्व को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह आधुनिक पुलिस बीट बॉक्स उन्नत सुरक्षा उपकरणों से लैस है, जो इस क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा को बेहतर बनाने और निवासियों व यात्रियों के लिए एक सुरक्षित वातावरण सुनिश्चित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

Chhattisgarh Takes Control as Chandigarh Bowlers Struggle

Chandigarh,  Jan.31, 2025:-The second day of the Ranji Trophy match between Chandigarh and hosts Chhattisgarh at Raipur saw the UT bowlers struggle for breakthroughs as Chhattisgarh built a solid foundation closing the day at 310/4 in response to Chandigarh's 283 in the first innings.

Resuming thier overnight score of 13/0, Chhattisgarh faced early setbacks when Abhishek Saini struck twice dismissing skipper A G Tiwary (15) and Ashutosh Singh (10), reducing them to 78/2. However, Sanjeet Desai and Ayush Pandey steadied the innings with a crucial 109-run partnership helping the hosts to recover.

Pandey, who played a determined knock, was unfortunate to miss out on a century, falling lbw to Gurinder Singh for 99 with 187/3 on the board. Soon P M Yadav (3) departed to Vishu leaving the side at  200/4.

Thereafter, Sanjeet Desai (123)* and Shashank Chandrakar (56)* built a formidable unbeaten 110-run stand, ensuring Chhattisgarh ended the day in a commanding position.

Martyrs' Day Observed at Gian Jyoti Global School to Commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s Legacy

Mohali, Jan.31,2025:-Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2, Mohali, solemnly observed Martyrs' Day to mark the 77th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.  The event was held with deep reverence, honoring the values of truth, non-violence, and patriotism that Gandhiji stood for.

Students from various classes paid tribute by offering flowers to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, expressing their gratitude and reverence. The commemoration began with a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a two-minute silence in memory of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Students and teachers participated in speeches, patriotic songs, and skits showcasing Gandhiji's life and contributions to India's freedom struggle.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Director Ranjit Bedi emphasized the significance of Gandhian principles in today's world. Chief Secretary, Haryana Releases NABARD State Focus Paper 2025-26 with Credit Potential of 3.14 Lakh Crore

Chandigarh, Jan.30, 2025:-NABARD has assessed a credit potential of 3.14 lakh crore reflecting an increase of 37.64% over the previous year under priority sector lending in Haryana State for the year 2025-26. The credit potential under agriculture, MSME and other priority sector including education and renewable energy has a share of 35.60%, 57.12% and 7.28% respectively. NABARD's State Focus Paper (SFP) was released by Vivek Joshi, LAS, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Haryana, during the State Credit Seminar 2025-26 held on 30 January 2025 at Chandigarh in the presence of Smt. Nivedita Tiwary, Chief General Manager, NABARD, senior executives of banks, senior officers of state government and academic institutions of the state.

Chief Secretary appreciated efforts of NABARD to assess the credit potential under agriculture, MSME, export, education, renewable energy etc. of the State that align with the government's vision for farmers welfare and rural development with emphasis on crop diversification, climate-resilient agriculture, shrimp farming and promoting vegetable clusters. He urged Banks, Government departments, NABARD, SLBC, academic institutions and all other stakeholders to synergize coordinated efforts for creating increased employment opportunities in rural areas.

Smt. Nivedita Tiwary, CGM highlighted the consultative process to arrive at the credit potential of 3.14 lakh crore of the state by assimilating the potential worked out in Potential Credit linked Plans for all 22 districts of Haryana. She appreciated the need for dovetailing the Credit Potential worked out for all 22 districts by NABARD with the District Credit Plan prepared by Lead Banks. She reiterated the NABARD's commitment towards addressing the pressing challenges faced by Haryana's agricultural and rural sectors and promoting sustainable solutions that would benefit the farmers and villagers. As Financial inclusion is central to developmental initiatives, especially the computerization of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and expansion of mobile ATMs and Business Correspondents (BCs) in rural areas enhancing digital literacy and access to financial services.

To enhance marketing provisions for SHGs, NABARD had signed a MOU with NRLM and several projects for marketing of SHG products are being implemented in the state in collaboration with Haryana SRL.M. Further, NABARD is driving sustainable agriculture through its Farm Sector Promotion Fund (FSPF), supporting pilots on reclamation of alkaline soil in Karnal and Kaithal, crop diversification from paddy to kharif onion in Karnal, IOT based saline shrimp farming in Hisar, and precision horticulture using robotics in hisar.

NABARD's Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) has been playing a vital role in supporting infrastructure projects such as solar pumps, irrigation, rural roads, and storage facilities in Haryana.

To increase farmers' incomes, better leverages in negotiation for prices of inputs and outputs and convergence with various GOI and GOH schemes, NABARD has promoted 129 FPOs in the state. Also, NABARD has promoted two Off Farm Producer Companies (OFPO) namely Beliyan OFPO, Palwal to manufacture Sujni craft and Jaipuri Rajais and Virasat Back to Roots in Raipur Rani, Panchkula to manufacture traditional dhurrie.

To enhance rural incomes and address sustainability concerns in agriculture, NABARD is committed to collaborate with state government for improving irrigation systems, storage and warehousing facilities, road connectivity, and digital infrastructure, reducing post-harvest losses, improving market linkages, facilitating financial inclusion and enhancing income of farmers and villagers.

To harness the credit potential of 3.14 lakh crore, it's required to scale up support for agriculture, MSMEs, social infrastructure, and sustainable energy solutions.

Gurinder’s Ton Rescues UT Boys as Chandigarh Posts 283 after Early Eetbacks

Chandigarh, January 30, 2025:– A brilliant century knock from down eight tailender  Gurinder Singh (113 off 184 balls) helped Chandigarh recover from a disastrous start to post a competitive 283 in 80.4 overs against Chhattisgarh in their Ranji Trophy match at Raipur. After being reduced to 49/6, Chandigarh found a savior in Gurinder along with Amrit Lal Lubana (92 off 170 balls). The duo stitched a 168-run partnership to bring stability to the innings.

Earlier, Chhattisgarh opted to field first. Ravi Kiran (5/68) took early control in the game by demolishing the opponent's top order. Last match centurian against host Tamil Nadu and UT skipper Manan Vohra, Ankit Kaushik and Vishu departed the scene without troubling the scorer while Shivam Bhamari (12) and Mayank Sidhu (13) also failed to capitalize on their start. Later Gurinder and Lubana partnership turned the table for visitors and frustrated the Chattisgarh bowlers for nearly fifty overs. Ravi Kiran separated the duo when Lubana fell at  217/7 on the board. Jagjit Singh scored four followed by a valiant knock of Gurinder (113) as he smashed 13 boundaries. Nishunk also gave tough resistance with his individual score of 26 off 31 balls.

In reply, Chattisgarh scored 13/0 before the stumps were drawn. 

बंटी बने सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर: गांव अटावा वासियों ने फूलमाला लाद किया स्वागत

Chandigarh, Jan.30, 2025:--चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम में कांग्रेस पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर का पद जीत गए हैं। उनकी इस जीत पर गांव अटावा वासियों में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई। गांववासियों ने बंटी के गांव पहुंचने पर ढोल की धाप पर भांगडा डाल खुशी का इज़हार किया और बंटी को फूलमालाओं से लाद दिया। 

वहीं जसबीर सिंह बंटी के पिता सरदार भाग सिंह भी बेटे की जीत पर फुले नही समा रहे थे। उन्होंने बंटी के साथ पूरे गांव का दौरा किया और सभी का लड्डूओं से मूंह मीठा करवाया। बंटी ने सभी गांववासियों और मार्किट दुकानदारों का आभार जताया, जिनके सहयोग और समर्थन की बदौलत आज वो इस मुकाम पर पहुंचे।

भाजपा की हरप्रीत बबला बनी मेयर: आप की उम्मीदवार प्रेमलता को 2 वोटों के अंतर से हराया

Chandigarh, Jan.30, 2025:-चंडीगढ़ में आप-कांग्रेस गठबंधन को नगर निगम में बहुमत के बावजूद करारा झटका देते हुए भाजपा ने मेयर पद का चुनाव जीत लिया है। नगर निगम में 16 पार्षदों वाली भाजपा की हरप्रीत काैर बबला 19 वोट लेकर जीत गई हैं। वहीं आप और कांग्रेस गठबंधन की प्रेमलता को 17 ही वोट मिले। जबकि निगम में आप-कांग्रेस के पाषदों सहित संसद मेंबर की वोट मिलाकर कुल 20 वोटें थी। मेयर चुनाव में तीन वोट क्रॉस हुए हैं जो भाजपा की झोली में पड़े है। यह तीनों वोट कांग्रेस और आम आदमी पार्टी गठबंधन के पार्षदों के हैं। उधर इसके साथ ही हुए सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर के चुनाव में कांग्रेस के जसबीर सिंह बंटी वजयी रहे। उन्होंने भाजपा की विमला दुबे को 17 के मुकाबले 19 वोटों से हराया है। डिप्टी मेयर के पद पर भी कांग्रेस की तरुणा मेहता ने जीत दर्ज की है। उन्हें 19 वोट मिले हैं, जबकि भाजपा के लखबीर सिंह बिल्लू को 17 वोट मिले हैं। सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर और डिप्टी मेयर के चुनाव में भी आम आदमी पार्टी और कांग्रेस गठबंधन के किसी एक पार्षद ने वोट क्रॉस किया है। गुरुवार को सुबह 11 बजे निर्धारित समय पर मतदान की प्रक्रिया शुरू हुई। निगम के संयुक्त सचिव गुरिंदर सिंह सोढ़ी की तरफ से पहले सभी पार्षदों को चुनाव के नियम व शर्तों के बारे में बताया गया। बैलेट पेपर पर मतदान देने के तरीके के बारे में भी पार्षदों को जानकारी दी गई। कांग्रेस पार्षद गुरप्रीत सिंह बंटी ने कहा कि चुनाव पारदर्शी तरीके से होना चाहिए, क्योंकि पिछली बार जो हुआ वह हम सब ने देखा है। उन्होंने प्रीसाइडिंग अधिकारी रमणीक सिंह बेदी को कहा कि पहले वह अपना एक पेन तय कर ले, उसी से सारे काम करें क्योंकि पिछली बार बहुत गड़बड़ हुई थी। इससे पहले कांग्रेस से हाल ही में भाजपा में शामिल हुईं पार्षद गुरबख्श रावत जब वोट देने पहुंची तो उन्होंने घड़ी बांधी थी। इस पर आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षद योगेश ढींगरा ने सवाल उठाया। कहा कि जब सबसे घड़ियां बाहर उतरवा ली गई हैं तो इन्होंने क्यों बांधी है। रावत ने कहा कि एनालॉग घड़ी है। स्मार्ट वॉच नहीं है हालांकि प्रीसाइडिंग अधिकारी ने उन्हें घड़ी उतारने को कहा। इसके बाद ही उन्हें बैलेट पेपर दिया गया और उन्होंने वोट डाला। मेयर चुनाव सुप्रीम कोर्ट की तरफ से नियुक्त की गई स्वतंत्र पर्यवेक्षक रिटायर्ड जस्टिस जयश्री ठाकुर की निगरानी में हुआ। मतदान और मतगणना की पूरी प्रक्रिया की वीडियोग्राफी भी करवाई गई। चुनाव के दौरान मनोनीत पार्षद डाक्टर रमणीक बेदी को प्रिसाइडिंग  अधिकारी लगाया गया था। चुनाव को लेकर नगर निगम भवन के अंदर और बाहर सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतज़ाम थे, किसी भी बहरी व्यक्ति को निगम भवन के अंदर प्रवेश करने की इज़ाज़त नहीं थी। भाजपा पार्षद हरप्रीत कौर बबला के मेयर चुने जाने के बाद चंडीगढ़ भाजपा के अध्यक्ष जतिंदरपाल मल्होत्रा सहित भाजपा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अरुण सूद, संजय टंडन स्थित अन्य भाजपा पार्षदों ने उन्हें मेयर की सीट पर बिठाया और बधाई दी। मेयर चने जाने के बाद हरप्रीत कौर बबला ने सभी पार्षदों का उन्हें इस शहर के उस महत्वपूर्ण पद के लिए चुनने को लेकर धन्यवाद किया और सभी के सहयोग से चंडीगढ़ शहर को फिर से दुनिया का सबसे सुंदर शहर बनाने का वायदा किया।

 एन आर आई हरिदास गुप्ता ने बताया कि कैलाश मानसरोवर से जुड़ी समस्याओं और रहस्यों के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए महाकुंभ में एक शिविर का आयोजन किया गया है। इसी के साथ उन्होंने वैश्विक सनातन प्रेमियों को जोड़ते हुए "कैलाश अखाड़ा" स्थापना की घोषणा की।

महाकुंभ के इस शिविर में भारत और विदेश से कई मशहूर हस्तियों, अधिकारियों और सफल व्यवसायियों शामिल हो रहे है.अब तक इसमें सिंगापुर, दुबई, मलेशिया, अमेरिका, थाईलैंड, इटली, स्विट्जरलैंड से प्रवासी भारतीय और विदेशी शामिल हो चुके हैं। उम्मीद है कि अन्य देशों से भी बड़ी संख्या में लोग आएंगे. यहां प्रतिदिन हजारों लोगों को लंगर परोसा जाता है।

आचार्य हरि गुप्ता कुंभ के टेंट सिटी व कैलाश के महत्व और जागरूकता के लिए काम कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने दिव्य अनुभव के लिए कई विदेशियों को इस शिविर में आने के लिए आमंत्रित किया है। उन्होंने इस बारे में समर्थन मांगने के लिए बाबाओं और राजनेताओं से लेकर दर-दर की ठोकरें खाईं. ज्यादातर लोगों ने उनकी मदद नहीं की। हरिदास गुप्ता ने बताया कि शाही स्नान को करोड़ों लोग देखते हैं, लेकिन जुलूस में केवल संत और तपस्वी ही शामिल हो सकते हैं।

हालांकि अगोरी अखाड़ा प्रमुख ने भी कैलाश मिशन को समर्थन देने का वादा किया है. अगोरी अखाड़ा प्रमुख ने कहा कि हम भगवान शिव के भक्त हैं और इसके लिए हम कुछ भी करेंगे. प्रयाग राज के जगत गुरु बुद्धेश्वर महाराज जी ने भी इस मिशन को समर्थन देने का वादा किया है। अमृतसर से योगी छोटूनाथ जी ने सिख समुदाय का समर्थन व्यक्त किया है और कहा है कि सिख समुदाय इस उद्देश्य के लिए मिलकर काम करेगा।

हरि गुप्ता दिल्ली से कैलाश के लिए सीधी चार्टर उड़ानें शुरू करने के इच्छुक हैं और एयरलाइन ऑपरेटरों से बातचीत कर रहे हैं। दिल्ली से कैलाश तक की केवल 500 किमी की उड़ान है।

Chandigarh, Jan.29,2025:- हिमाचल प्रदेश के 54 वें राजत्व दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में वर्ल्ड हिमाचल आर्गेनाईजेशन द्वारा सेक्टर 40 ऐ स्थित श्री राधा कृष्ण मंदिर में निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया गया जिसका उद्घाटन गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं हॉस्पिटल सेक्टर 32 के प्रधान निदेशक प्रो ए के अत्री ने किया | इस अवसर पर हिन्दू पर्व महासभा चंडीगढ़ के अध्यक्ष बी पी अरोड़ा और चंडीगढ़ भाजपा एवं नगर निगम के पूर्व मेयर अरुण सूद ने विशेष अतिथि के रूप में भाग लिया | चिकित्सा शिविर में मोहाली के प्रसिद्ध चीमा मेडिकल काम्प्लेक्स सुपर स्पेशलिटी हॉस्पिटल के न्यूरोलॉजिस्ट, ऑर्थोलोजिस्ट, यूरलॉजिस्ट, डर्मोटोलॉजिस्ट, ई सी जी, बीएमडी, आरबीएस आकू प्रेशर, विशेषज्ञों ने कुल  250 से भी अधिक लोगों की जांच की और उनके टेस्ट किये |

UTCA President Inspects Tau Devi Lal Stadium for Tournament Review

Chandigarh, Jan.29, 2025:-Ahead of the Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Memorial Cricket Tournament which is  set to begin from February 7, UT Cricket Association (UTCA) President Sanjay Tandon, along with the organizing committee visited Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula for an inspection.

An extensive review of on-ground preparations was conducted. Key aspects such as players' and franchise dugouts, broadcasters' space, seating management, and arrangements for the opening and prize distribution ceremonies were discussed in detail.

For the first time, this tournament is being held in a franchise-based format, featuring a total of six corporate-backed teams. The tournament will kick off with its first match on February 7, and the grand final will be played on February 23. In total, 33 matches will be played with participation restricted to UTCA-registered players.

The review visit was attended by Tournament Executive Chairman Dr. Rupesh Singh, UTCA Secretary Devender Sharma, Apex Council members - Hari Singh Khurana, Denial Banerjee, Venue Manager Gautam Sharma, and other management officials.

Mohali, Jan.29, 2025:- क्या एक साधारण 'नमस्ते' स्ट्रोक की स्थिति में जीवन बचा सकता है? एक नई तकनीक निश्चित रूप से ऐसा कर सकती है। फोर्टिस अस्पताल, मोहाली ने इस पारंपरिक अभिवादन का उपयोग करके प्रारंभिक स्ट्रोक पहचान के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए एक क्रांतिकारी पहल शुरू की है।

इस तकनीक को समझाते हुए प्रख्यात न्यूरोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. श्रीराम वर्धाराजन  ने कहा कि एक साधारण नमस्ते तीव्र स्ट्रोक के दौरान जीवन बचा सकता है। नमस्ते करते समय व्यक्ति स्ट्रोक के मुख्य लक्षणों की तुरंत पहचान कर सकता है। दोनों हाथ जोड़ने से बांह की कमजोरी या झुकाव का पता चल सकता है, सीधे खड़े होकर मुस्कुराने से चेहरे के असंतुलन या गिरावट की पहचान हो सकती है, और 'नमस्ते' बोलने से अस्पष्ट या तुतलाती हुई वाणी का पता चल सकता है। इसके अतिरिक्त, आंखें बंद करने से संतुलन या संवेदनशीलता की समस्या का परीक्षण किया जा सकता है।

डॉ. वर्धाराजन ने बताया कि मौजूदा प्री-हॉस्पिटल स्ट्रोक असेसमेंट स्केल  मुख्य रूप से चेहरे की गिरावट, बांह की कमजोरी, पकड़ की शक्ति और बोलने की कठिनाई पर केंद्रित होते हैं - जिनकी जांच पारंपरिक नमस्ते के माध्यम से एक साथ की जा सकती है। उन्होंने यह भी जोड़ा कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति अकेला हो, तो वह आईने के सामने स्वयं इस तकनीक से अपनी जांच कर सकता है। नमस्ते करते समय आंखें बंद करने से संतुलन या संवेदनशीलता की गड़बड़ी का भी पता लगाया जा सकता है, जो पीछे के मस्तिष्क (पॉस्टीरियर सर्कुलेशन) में स्ट्रोक का संकेत हो सकता है।

तकनीक को विस्तार से समझाते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि नमस्ते की मुद्रा में कंधों की हल्की झुकाव के साथ उठान, कोहनियों का मोड़, और हाथों को जोड़ना शामिल है। यह स्थिति बांह की कमजोरी और पकड़ की शक्ति में कमी को उजागर कर सकती है। मुस्कुराना और 'नमस्ते' ज़ोर से बोलना चेहरे की विषमता और अस्पष्ट वाणी की पहचान करने में मदद करता है।" इस सरल तकनीक को आसानी से अपनाया जा सकता है, और तमिल में वडकम्म जैसे क्षेत्रीय अभिवादन भी इसके प्रभावी विकल्प हो सकते है।

फोर्टिस अस्पताल, मोहाली ने इस तकनीक को प्रारंभिक स्ट्रोक पहचान के लिए एक सरल और सुलभ प्री-हॉस्पिटल स्क्रीनिंग विधि के रूप में विकसित करने का लक्ष्य रखा है। डॉ. वर्धाराजन ने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि स्ट्रोक के लक्षणों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए सार्वजनिक अभियान चलाना महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि समय पर पहचान और त्वरित उपचार से जीवन बचाया जा सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि स्ट्रोक एक तेजी से बढ़ती राष्ट्रीय समस्या है। इससे निपटने का पहला कदम जागरूकता बढ़ाना और लोगों को ऐसे सरल तरीकों से सशक्त बनाना है, जिससे वे तुरंत सतर्क हो सकें, और समय पर अपनी जांच करवा सकें।

प्राचीन कला केंद्र द्वारा संगीत की कार्यशाला का आयोजन

Aditi, a 9th-class student at Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, was recognized for her outstanding performance in sports. She has represented the UTCA Under-15 and Under-19 women's cricket teams and is currently receiving training at the UT Sports Department's cricket academy in Sector 16.

Last year, Aditi served as the captain of the champion team in the women's category of the Gully Cricket Tournament organized by UTCA. Currently, she is the captain of the Under-19 women's cricket team in the School Games.

UTCA President Sanjay Tandon while commenting on her achievement said that Aditi has set an excellent example for other girls in the city and state by actively participating in sports. He also expressed hope that Aditi will continue her exceptional performance in upcoming domestic and BCCI tournaments and secure a spot in the women's national team.

Mohali, Jan.28, 2025:- ग्रेशियन-पार्क अस्पताल के न्यूरोलॉजिस्ट डा. संदीप शर्मा ने कहा कि स्ट्रोक जैसी गंभीर स्थिति को नजरअंदाज करना खतरनाक हो सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि मस्तिष्क संबंधी किसी भी समस्या पर समय रहते ध्यान न देने से लकवा जैसी गंभीर बीमारी का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। आज हॉस्पिटल में आईआर फैसिलिटीज के सहयोग से एक विशेष पोस्ट-ऑपरेटिव फॉलो-अप कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया, जिसका नेतृत्व प्रसिद्ध इंटरवेंशनल रेडियोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. संदीप शर्मा ने किया।

डा. शर्मा ने बताया कि आधुनिक तकनीकों के चलते अब स्ट्रोक के मरीजों का सफल इलाज संभव है। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से मैकेनिकल थ्रोम्बेक्टॉमी तकनीक का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि यह विधि न केवल स्ट्रोक बल्कि मस्तिष्क से जुड़ी कई अन्य समस्याओं के इलाज में भी बेहद प्रभावी है। यह तकनीक मरीजों को बिना किसी सर्जिकल कट के राहत देती है।

डा शर्मा ने बताया कि मैकेनिकल थ्रोम्बेक्टॉमी तकनीक में किसी भी प्रकार की सर्जरी की जरूरत नहीं होती। इस विधि के जरिए मस्तिष्क की ब्लॉक नसों को खोलकर रक्त प्रवाह को सामान्य किया जा सकता है। यह प्रक्रिया किफायती होने के साथ-साथ मरीजों के लिए सुरक्षित और प्रभावी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह तकनीक लकवे के अटैक से बचाने और नस फटने की स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने में भी मददगार है।

डा. संदीप शर्मा ने हाल ही में इलाज किए गए एक मरीज का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि 35 वर्षीय महिला, जो बेहोशी की हालत में उनके पास लाई गई थी और जिसके शरीर का दाहिना हिस्सा लकवाग्रस्त हो गया था, को इस तकनीक की मदद से पूरी तरह ठीक कर दिया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि महिला के मस्तिष्क की ब्लॉक नस से थक्का हटाकर रक्त प्रवाह को सामान्य किया गया, और अब वह पूरी तरह स्वस्थ है।

डा. शर्मा ने कहा कि ग्रेसियन पार्क अस्पताल की टीम का मुख्य उद्देश्य मरीजों को उनकी सामान्य जिंदगी में वापस लाना है। अस्पताल की टीम मरीजों के साथ पूरी दया और संवेदनशीलता के साथ व्यवहार करती है, जिससे मरीजों का आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है और वे तेजी से स्वस्थ हो पाते हैं।

Kidney Transported through Green Corridor from Jalandhar to Mohali Saves Man Life

Chandigarh, January 28, 2025:-A kidney transported through a green corridor from Jalandhar to Mohali gave a new lease of life to a 62 years old male patient from Kurukshetra who underwent a first cadaveric kidney transplant at Livasa Hospital Mohali today.

The two kidneys of a brain dead patient were harvested at Shriman Hospital Jalandhar by a team of doctors led by Dr Avinash Srivastava director urology & renal transplant at Livasa Hospital, Mohali.

The kidney was brought to Mohali through a green corridor with the help of Punjab Police and local administrations of Jalandhar, Phagwara, Nawanshahr, Ropar and Mohali for swift and safe shifting of organs. Another kidney was transported to Aykai Hospital Ludhiana by creating a different green corridor.

Dr Raka Kaushal director nephrology at Livasa said that according to a recent survey only one donor is available for per million populations in India. There is an immense need to raise awareness for organ donation,

Kidneys are the most frequently needed organ followed by the liver. 85% of people waiting for organ donation need a kidney. By donating organs, a deceased donor person can save the lives of up to 8 individuals by way of organ donation and enhance the lives of over 50 people by way of tissue donation.

Dr Raka further informed that due to the growing population of diabetes and hypertension, every year about 2.20 lakh new patients develop chronic kidney failure in India. Ironically due to the lack of awareness and unavailability of donors the kidney transplant takes place in only about eight thousand cases.

Dr Avinash Srivastava said that after every 10 minutes, one person is added to the organ transplant waiting list and 20 people die every day for organ need in India. More than 3 lakh patients are waiting for organ donation, but less than 10% of the patients waiting for organ donation get it on time,

इंटरनेशनल आर्ट एग्जीबिशन "विंटर वाइब्स" का आयोजन 31 जनवरी तक

Mohali, Jan.28, 2025:-फेज-9, मोहाली में आर्टिस्ट्स गिल्ड अजीतगढ़ द्वारा आयोजित इंटरनेशनल आर्ट एग्जीबिशन - "विंटर वाइब्स: रंग कभी बूढ़े नहीं होते" कला प्रेमियों के लिए एक शानदार अनुभव लेकर आई है। यह एग्जीबिशन 31 जनवरी तक खुली रहेगी।

एग्जीबिशन का उद्घाटन प्रसिद्ध आर्ट कनॉइसौर शमशेर कौर और वरिष्ठ पत्रकार, कवि, लेखक एवं सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता डॉ. राजकुमार मलिक ने किया। इसमें भारत, नेपाल, मॉरीशियस, जर्मनी और कनाडा के 42 कलाकारों के 82 कलाकृतियां प्रदर्शित की गई हैं। इन कलाकारों की आयु 5 वर्ष से लेकर 78 वर्ष तक है, जो कला की विविधता और रंगों की समयहीनता को दर्शाती हैं।

खरगे की टिप्पणी सनातनियों की आस्था को ठेस पहुँचाने वाली: देवशाली

Chandigarh, Jan.28, 2025:-भारतीय जनता पार्टी के उपाध्यक्ष शक्ति प्रकाश देवशाली ने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे द्वारा शताब्दियों से चले आ रहे महाकुम्भ पर्व पर की गई टिप्पणी की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हुए इसे सनातन का अपमान और सनातनियों की आस्था को ठेस पहुँचाने वाला कृत्य बताया।

देवशाली ने कहा कि इस टिप्पणी से मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे और कांग्रेस पार्टी की सनातनियों के प्रति घृणा और नफरत देशवासियों के समक्ष उजागर हुई है।   इससे यह भी प्रदर्शित होता है कि कांग्रेस नेता सनातनियों के प्रति कितने असंवेदनशील हैं।

Chandigarh, Jan.28, 2025:-चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम द्वारा 26 जनवरी गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह के दौरान समाजसेवा में उत्कृष्ट कार्यो के लिए समाजसेविका वीना चौहान को उनकी उपलब्धियों के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम आयुक्त अमित कुमार और नगर निगम मेयर कुलदीप कुमार ने उन्हें उनकी समाजसेवा के लिए सम्मानित किया। 

समाजसेविका वीना चौहान 1987 से सेक्रेड हार्ट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, सेक्टर-26, चंडीगढ़ में लेक्चरर (शारीरिक शिक्षा) के रूप में कार्यरत रही हैं। उन्होंने अपनी जॉब के दौरान वप सेक्रेड हार्ट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल में एनसीसी द्वितीय अधिकारी के साथ साथ स्कूल में एनएसएस कार्यक्रम अधिकारी के रूप में काम किया। उनकी उत्कृष्ट सेवाओं के लिए श्रीमती स्मृति जुबिन ईरानी (माननीय मंत्री मानव संसाधन विकास, भारत सरकार) द्वारा 2015 में प्रशंसा प्रमाण पत्र दिया जा चुका है।वर्ष 1992, 1997, 2002 में सर्वश्रेष्ठ कैडेट पुरस्कार के लिए एनसीसी यूनिट से प्रशंसा पत्र वर्ष 2003-2006 के लिएप्रशंसा प्रमाण पत्र और ट्रॉफी मिल चुकी हैं।

वीना चौहान को वर्ष 2000-2005 अवधि में शिक्षण में समर्पण के लिए कक्षा 12वीं सीबीएसई में 100% परिणाम के लिए भी प्रशंसा प्रमाण पत्र दिया जा चुका है। भारत की 50वीं स्वर्ण जयंती के उद्घाटन समारोह को सफल बनाने में दी गई उत्कृष्ट सेवाओं के लिए भी वीना चौहान प्रशंसा प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त कर चुकी है। वीना चौहान अखिल भारतीय अंतर-विश्वविद्यालय स्तर पर बास्केटबॉल खेल चुकी है और राष्ट्रीय स्तर (उपविजेता), राज्य स्तर (प्रथम स्थान) उनकी उपलब्धियों का हिस्सा हैं।

   वीना चौहान का खेलों के प्रति बहुत ही खास झुकाव रहा है। वो विभिन्न खेल ऑर्गनिसशन्स के साथ जुड़ी रही है। जैसे कि;-

(i) भारतीय सूखा संघ की उपाध्यक्ष

(ii) संयुक्त सचिव, थ्रोबॉल एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया

(iii) महिला क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन की कार्यकारी सदस्य।

(iv) भारतीय बॉल बैडमिंटन एसोसिएशन की संयुक्त सचिव
