Mohali, Dec.14, 2024:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2 Mohali, organized a 5-day Faculty Development Program on Effective Mentoring at its campus . The initiative aimed to equip faculty members with the skills and strategies required to excel in mentoring, fostering stronger mentor-mentee relationships for the holistic development of students. Under the leadership of Director Dr. Aneet Bedi, the program featured expert sessions conducted by Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean of Academics, and Dr. Bushra SP Singh, Assistant Professor at GJIMT. The sessions covered critical aspects of effective mentoring, including communication skills, addressing mentoring challenges, building trust, and supporting mentees in their personal and professional growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi emphasized, "This FDP reflects our commitment to the continuous professional development of our faculty. By enhancing their mentoring capabilities, we aim to create a robust support system for our students' growth and success."
The program concluded with an award ceremony where participants were presented with certificates for their successful completion of the FDP. Faculty members lauded the enriching experience and expressed their appreciation for the actionable insights gained during the sessions.
