DBU Organizes a Webinar Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights

Chandigarh June 17, 2021:-DeshBhagat University IEDC Patent cell in association with Ennoble IP organized a webinar on Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights. The session was for Students and the Faculty of Dental Sciences. The objective is to motivate and guide faculty and students towards the correlation between innovation and Intellectual Property Rights and brief about insights of application. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor DBU appreciated patent cell IEDC for the effort of organizing the webinar. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajender Kaur stated that such collaborated events are a good step towards providing good exposure and broad scope. 

Giving details of the Event spokesperson of the university said that the IPR expert, Mr. Karan Puri, currently working as an Associate Vice President at Ennoble IP shared more insights about IPR. With an experience of more than 6 years in Patent research and Analytics, he works to support clients in their IP and business consulting projects, information research, competitive intelligence, and patent /design in India and various other countries like the US, Japan, China, and others. He addressed the audience and motivated them to come forward and submit their workable innovated idea for patent application. Students and faculty participated with good interest. 

In the end, a query session was held for the students, which was handled by the expert. Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor DBU addressed the audience and said that we should look forward to such events as they are necessary for better connection and awareness at the large scope. She discussed the scope of innovations in the field of medical sciences.
