Chandigarh 14th July:- It is a private suffering for women. A suffering which is the most common yet has been overlooked for ages. It's Vaginal Laxity what we are talking about - a taboo for some, loss of quality life for others. Women dealing with this problem has not only adversely impacted marital bliss, but has jolted women's confidence.
Fortunately, medical science has an answer for this too. The touch clinic in Mohali has for the first time in northern India introduced a one stop solution for such burning and common problems in women for which they had to suffer in silence and embarrassment.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, Dr Preeti Jindal, Renowned Gynecologist, IVF expert and Director of the Touch Clinic Mohali said that women suffering with vaginal laxity experience urinary incontinence and it also reduces the pleasurable sensations during sexual intercourse, leading to loss of sexual desire and embarrassment.
Dr. Preeti Jindal informed that most sexually active women suffer from vaginal laxity at some point. "Lifecycle processes such as childbirth, hormonal changes that accompany aging and severe weight fluctuations can overstretch vaginal tissue, damage the pelvic floor, damage collagen and alter the mucosal tone of the vaginal wall; thus leading to vaginal laxity in many women.
Dr. Preeti Jindal further said that every 1 in 2 women suffer from urinary incontinence related to stress (SUI). "SUI is involuntary leakage of urine when coughing, sneezing, exercising. Urinary incontinence is a problem that creates both physical and psychological nuisance to a woman impacting their quality of life.
A solution was needed which could provide women a quick, safe and effective solution. Hence, The touch clinic decided to introduce FemiLift.
Dwelling on the solution to this intimate problem, Dr Jindal stated that FemiLift, is a unique product that addresses these lesser talked about yet widely prevalent problems like stress urinary incontinence, UTIs, vaginal dryness and laxity thus restoring women's confidence and improvising their sexual wellbeing through a quick and non-invasive safe procedure.
She shared further that like skin, vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibers which give it strength and flexibility. FemiLift uses breakthrough CO2 laser technology to gently heat vaginal tissue, contracting existing fibers and stimulating the formation of new collagen. This process improves the functionality of entire vaginal area- normalizing blood flow, increasing lubrication, boosting immune resistance and restoring the strength of the vaginal walls.
Dr. Preeti Jindal added that FemiLift is a non-surgical, safe, simple and quick procedure which has a minimal downtime and is easily integrated into feminine healthcare and lifestyle.
