Film Journalist Sapan Manchanda Prepares Pollywood Directory:Harbhajan Mann, Ranjit Bawa and Binnu Dhillon Released the Directory

Chandigarh 12^th July:-  Punjabi entertainment industry is going global and is much talked about everywhere. Many big names from Bollywood are also venturing into Punjabi cinema and hence keeping in view the biggest need of this time, known film journalist and critic Sapan Manchanda has readied a special telephone directory. The directory named 'Rangeen World Pollywood Directory' was today released by actor-singer Harbhajan Maan, Ranjit Bawa and comedian Binnu Dhillon. Lingua Soft's chairman Gurvinder Kang was also present on this occasion.

The USP of this directory is that it has about 5000 contacts of personalities and technicians of the industry with their pictures. Along with the same, directory has important information about Punjabi cinema, Punjabi music industry and theatre world.

On this occasion, Sapan Manchanda said that two years back he made his first attempt to make such a directory but this time this is one such directory of Pollywood and Bollywood wherein the pictures of the artists have also been published. Sapan further said that the 340 pages of the directory has contact information of singers, actors, directors, theatre persons, costume directors, models, production managers, Sikh artists, anchors and journalists divided among 41 different categories altogether. It also has been tried that there is no hassle for the new actors to get in touch with the industry people.

Sapan Manchanda thanked a few people who made this directory possible. He shared names of Sukhdeep Sukh, Harpreet Khetla, Mandeep Singh, Prof. Pali Bhupinder Singh, Jasbir Jassi, Nitika Dass, Nisha Sharma, Ishant Kumar, Aman, Gagandeep Jindal and Gurvinder Singh.

Harbhajan Mann, on this occasion, said that such a directory was much needed. The task which was supposed to be done by some big organization has been shown way by a journalist. Nowadays Mumbai film industry is getting much inclined towards Punjabi cinema and this directory will certainly help producers-directors to get in touch with artists of Punjab.

Binnu Dhillon said that this directory will make it easy for those actors, directors and producers who always want to maintain a touch with other artists.

Ranjit Bawa commended the initiative by Sapan and said that any industry doesn't get success by 3 or 4 people. It is young minds like Sapan who contribute to make such industries a success.
