Chandigarh 21st July:- Carrying forward their mandate of social responsibility, Rotary Club of Panchkula Midtown in collaboration with ROTTO PGI organized Organ & Blood Donation camp at Hotel Holiday Inn, Sector 3, Panchkula today. The camp witnessed a good response with as many as 75 donating blood and 39 pledging their organs.
Simmi B Sumbria , Transplant Coordinator at ROTTO PGI motivated the public about the noble cause of organ donation and answered their queries. President Rtn Rajeev Madaan and secy Rtn Sanjeev Chaduary led from the front by donating the blood themselves.
Rtn Rakesh Garg,President Elect, while speaking on the occasion, shared that there cannot be a better service to the community than giving a gift of life to someone. We not only support the initiative but will also contribute by engaging with the community and spreading awareness about the cause.
