Chandigarh 17th December:- Third Mussoorie Winterline Carnival is being organised from 25th to 30th December, 2015. This was stated by the SDM Mussoorie & Secretary Winterline Carnival Committee, Swati Bhadauria during a Press Conference at Press Club, Chandigarh today.
While interacting with Media Swati Bhadauria said that successfully held over the last two years featuring a plethora of artists and activities. In this third edition brings the focus on the home state of Uttarakhand and to promote its traditional artists Jagar performer Basanti Bisht, Uttrakhand folk singer Narendra Singh Negi, Garhwali folk artist Pritam Barthwan will showcasing Uttarakhand folk dances on 25th and 30th December.
Swati Bhadauria further said that the star attraction will be Bollywood playback singer Mohit Chauhan who rocked in 'Rockstar'. This edition will also see Qawwali performance by Nizami Bandhu of Bajrangi Bhaijan fame, Magic Show by world-famous Sri N.C. Sarkar, Kathak performance, Kavi Sammelan featuring the likes of Surendra Sharma, Rock Band performance and Rajasthani Folk Dance by artists of the fame of 'Hum dil de chuke sanam'. Stage adaptation of Mahabharat by Bharat Natya Academy will be another grand performance to look forward to. Unique dance performances like LED Dance, and Shadow Dance will be added attractions of the show.
She said that besides the above activities, care has been taken to ensure that all age groups and people of all interests are involved in the festivities throughout the day. Puppet Show, Baby Show, Kids' Zone for children; She added that traditional games, Fun games, Couple Dance and Live Band, Photography Contest, Art Exhibition for Culture Enthusiasts and Zumba. Flash Mob, Mountain biking and Adventure Sports for the Adventure-loving ones will be a part of day activities.
