Hero’s Star Cast Felicitates the Creative Artists of MCM

Chandigarh 07th September:- Starcast duo of upcoming Salman Khan Production's movie 'Hero' honoured to the winners of various creative contests held in keeping with the Clean India Movement undertaken with renewed fervour by the Chandigarh Administration. Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, the promising new Bollywood debutants felicitated the creative artists of MCM who showcased their talent through a plethora of creative activities such as Just A minute, T- Shirt Painting, Dustbin Making, Jingle singing and Poster Making in a unique event organized by the Department of Sociology, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh to sensitize the students to partake in the Cleanliness Drive.

The students participated in the event with utmost enthusiasm and exhibited some awe-inspiring designs and thought provoking ideas. Their zeal soared higher as their work was applauded and their efforts rewarded by their favourite Bollywood stars Nehmat Godara bagged the first prize in Just A minute while Surmya stood second. The brilliant T-shirt painted by Malika bagged her the first prize while that of Tejaswani was adjudged second. Anjali  and Mandeep Kaur won the first and second prize respectively for Jingle singing while the winners of first and second prizes for Dustbin making were Shaima and Arshia respectively. The insightful posters made by Sumatt and Aditi Mittal were adjudicated the best.

The prize distribution was then followed by interaction with the stars that also performed for the audience leaving them spellbound. Elated at the way the event unfolded, Ms. Neena Dhawan, Principal of MCM encouraged one and all to contribute in keeping India clean and wished the Hero movie the best.
