Chandigarh 19th March:- To provide hassle free services, Suwidha centres are proving to be very beneficial for the public as they could get multifaceted services all under one roof which saves their time energy & money. Now, moving a step ahead, the Punjab Govt. is establishing new & improved centralised Sewa Kender at village & Ward level. Stating this, Deputy Commissioner of Mohali Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu said that 80 new centralised Sewa Kenderas are being established in the district for which new buildings worth Rs. 50 crores are being constructed in the district. He said that 35 Sewa Kenderas are being provided in the district for urban public whereas to cater the rural public 45 Sewa Kenderas are being established at village level. Sh. Sidhu said that with these centralised Sewa Kenderas, the general public need not to approach at district level, subdivision level & Block level Suwidha centres for their works. Rather these centralised Sewa Kenderas will provide 213 different types of services which will also be time framed as in other Suwidha centres.
Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu said that 35 new centralised Sewa Kenderas will be established at Dera Bassi Sub-division, 15 Sewa Kenderas will be established in Mohali Sub-Division and 30 Sewa Kenderas will be established in Kharar Sub-Division.
