AIHM HOSTS CULINARY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Chandigarh 22nd September:- On the second day of the CULINARY DEVELPOMENT WORKSHOP, under management development programme, organized and hosted by DR. AMBEDKAR INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, CATERING AND NUTRITION celebrating its 25 years of glory in association with INDIAN CULINARY FORUM and INDIAN FEDERATION OF CULINARY ASSOCIATES, displayed some luscious delicacies. This workshop is aimed to accelerate food service concepts into next generation. The participants were the Chefs, Faculty and Students from various institutes.

Chef Shankar Rawat, Executive Sous Chef of The Park Regis, Dubai who is the leading light in various cuisine revolutions of recent years and is also innovative young chef with his fun style of cooking, demonstrated various dishes of Chinese cuisine. The dishes for the second day were ambrosial and dulcified. Each and every person present there was cajoled. The exquisite dishes presented were Chicken Hot & Sour Soup, Golden Basket with Chicken Laichi, Stir Fried Chinese Green and Date Chocolate Roll with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Chef Jatender Thakur from CIHM said that I've enjoyed most is meeting people who have a real interest in food and sharing ideas with them. Good food is a global thing and I find that there is always something new and amazing to learn. This appetizing event will continue for 2 more days in which renowned Gourmet of gastronomy Chef Shaleen Gambhir, Executive Chef, Radisson Blu Noida  and Chef Vinod Bhatti, Executive chef American Embassy  will demonstrate their skills, inventiveness and will present mouth watering Italian, and Mexican & Mediterranean dishes.

Mrs. Bharti Tyagi, Principal of the Institute said that Chefs are bringing along different cuisine of the world. Such events are learning experience for the students which help them to boost their knowledge and skills and provide an opportunity to share the experiences of the master chefs.
