Surinder Singh advised that this summer Café 17 at the Taj Chandigarh, already well loved for its multi cuisine scrumptious & varied buffet launched a new and improved restaurant area and menu. An all day Mediterranean dining with colorful interiors this unique restaurant overlooks a water body with dancing fire depicting the rare combination of supremacy and serenity.
Surinder Singh further elaborated that the Café 17 restaurant can accommodate 78 guests including 12 in the alfresco dinning. The ambience with in is enlivened by a projection system on big grand screen make being seven 7ft X 5ft to sail the guest through his favorite sport or the latest in news. Surinder Singh complimented Hotel Chef and told that the Chefs at the restaurant created a menu featuring various Comfort food with a choice of Chef Special Cappuccino of porcini, Buffalo Mozzarella and plump tomato salad or a Classic Caesar salad, Lasagne Bolognaise and Grilled pepper prawns. Also to entice the Indian appetite menu features local regional cuisine Kapurthala da shahi kukad and south Indian Meen elittad ( fish wrapped in banana leaf) or Karavalli mutton curry cooked in special south Indian Spices, Surinder Singh also explained that for vegetarian we served broccoli bell pepper quesadillas ,mustard infused cottage cheese steak, finally the guests can round off the perfect meal with indulgent dessert such as chocolate indulgence flavored with cointreau , cuppacino cream brulee Banana & chocolate smoothie or yoghurt & blue berry shake is available around the clock.
