EMBARK ON AN EXCITING CULINARY JOURNEY WITH THE NEWLY LAUNCHED ITALIAN MENU AT JW MARRIOTT

Chandigarh 05th May:-- Oregano at JW Marriott, known for its exotic mix of traditional style cooking infused with fresh herbs and spices now expands its boundaries to bring to its patrons the all new Italian dishes & signature recipes from different parts of Italy. Savor the homemade and mother recipes exquisitely crafted by Chef Antonello Cancedda, and beat the heat with his all new and fresh summer menu.  Oregano will throw its doors open to all for the new Al-a-Carte menu from May 2014.  The menu features a detailed course-wise collection of authentic recipes fine-tuned over time, resulting in a contemporary presentation of traditional dishes. The delectable new menu rolls an array of Italian dishes from different regions of Italy like Sicily, Liguria, Geneva Palermo, Roma that are sure to leave you asking for more.

Speaking about the new menu Chef Antonello Cancedda, Italian Chef, Oregano, JW Marriott said,that the new menu is fresh that will beckon your attention on a summer evening, I have introduced a lot of fresh vegetarian dishes this season. I have incorporated dishes like Cima Alla Genovese which is stuffed with stuffed chicken with mortadella, grean peas, marjoram and served with salad. I have also introduced my mother style recipe from Liguria, Canneloni Di Verdure which is vegetable green canneloni with assorted vegetable capponata. Tortelli di gamberi is also from the same part of the country, it is shrimps and ricotta ravioli. You can also create your own pasta and LE Nostre Bruschette.

According to Chef Pallav Singhal, Executive Chef, JW Marriott Chandigarh said,that the new menu is a well conceived and cleverly executed result of fine-tuning, experimenting, and pushing the envelope to achieve a masterful rendering, in short it is a fantastic menu! It was a very determined effort to match imagination with experience. I call it the rejuvenation menu, as one will feel healthier and better after eating the dishes we selected for italian dining experience at marriott. The starters include dishes like bocconcini di mozzarella impanata con verdurine which are buffalo mozzarella fritters with crispy vegetables, arrabbiata dip, antipasto misto nel piatto con salumi it is an oregano selection of antipasti with cold cuts. ossobuco alla milanese which is a braised lamb shank, saffron risotto is an exquisite main course selection. cannoli  siciliani e gelato di pistacchio is primarily sicilian cookies stuffed with homemade ricotta cheese and candied fruit, pistachio ice cream and parfait di mandorle almond pafait with hot chocolate sauce are some of chef's old mother recipes.
