Chandigarh 18th December:- Gaurav Saini a student of 1st year
Mechanical in Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, Mohali has
brought laurels to the city by being selected as one of the eight
playing members of Taekwando team of Punjab Technical University (PTU)
Jalandhar. This team will be given a rigorous training by PTU to play
in Chennai in All India Inter University Tournaments from 06.01.2014
to 14.01.2014.
Presenting gold medal to Gaurav, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President
CGC said that all possible facilities will be provided so that the
hidden talents of all students may are brought out for excellence. Dr.
G.D. Bansal, Director General CGC said that sports & other
co-curricular activities are also important as academics. As such CGC
strives to develop overall personality of its students by exposing
them to various sports and cultural activities.
