Chandigarh 07th October: --- Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh organized mega blood donation camp at the Aggarwal Bhawan on the auspicious occasion of Agrasen Jayanti. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Ms. Tanvi Garg, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh Administration. On this occasion almost 200 blood units collected. In blood donation camp Aggarwal families and people from all segments participated with great fervor. Apart from the blood donation camp the morning session saw distribution of certificates by the Chief Guest to students of computer courses and stitching centre, being run by the Sabha.
According to Prem Chand Gupta, President, Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh, that the sabha organizes many socially beneficial initiatives free ambulance service, free computer education, scholarship for poor students, widow pension, financial aid for medical treatment and marriages of poor Aggarwal girls. The Sabha has recently also contributed with financially aid to relief operations in Uttrakhand.
