Mohali 07th October:----- To teach students moral value and make the old people feel that they are always cared by the society, the students of   Ashmah International school visited old age home in Akal Old Age Home, Ratwara Sahib, Mullanpur .

The students felt as if they were blessed by grandmothers and grandfathers, who loved and shared their experiences with them, each giving much needed love and attention.  They also gave gifts to the inmates and a small cultural programme was also organised there to entertain inmates. The senior citizens were elated to have a chirpy gathering amongst them. They enthusiastically interacted and shared their experiences with them. It was a lifetime experience for the students of Ashmah International School. Later, refreshment was also distributed into senior citizens.

The Principal Roopinder  Ghuman said that the children forget their parents, who have devoted their whole life to make their wards but when they need support, their children have sent them to old age home.  The students also pledged to respect and serve their parents and grandparents as the students understood the values and morals of   life in this modern world.
