Chandigarh, March 01, 2025:-Young buddies in the field of journalism will honor on coming 3rd april 2025, Thursday   at press club sector 27 b Chandigarh. They honour with young journalist 22nd SIMMI MARWAHA   HONOUR   by simmi marwaha memorial charitable trust.

In this regard trust invited the entry from those young Journalist who Done a marvelous  job in this field & his pen power Give push up to society, administration and government. They sent the entry till 25th march 2025 on e mail smctindia5@gmail.com.   

Trust Manging trustee Rajinder  rosy ( poetess) said that  21 years  back from 2004 they started this honor program with the coordination of well wishers of journalist simmi marwaha.on this day they honor those journalist in the field of print,electronic,web & photography media who done a fare job and also honor Punjab university Chandigarh  mass com correspondent topper. They give pure silver mementos in Shape of honor.

Noted that simmi marwaha was a journalist. she lost her life 22 years back in a road accident at Chandigarh at the time of 24.after that her well wishers started this honor program yearly on her birth day on 3rd april. till last year trust honored 64 journalist across the country.

CGC Mohali Launches AICTE IDEA Lab with ₹1 Crore Funding

Mohali, March 1, 2025:-Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali Jhanjeri has achieved a significant milestone by securing ₹1 crore in funding under the prestigious AICTE IDEA (Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Academy) Scheme 2024-25. This funding will be used to establish a cutting-edge AICTE IDEA Lab on campus, providing students with access to advanced technology and mentorship to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

The AICTE IDEA Lab will serve as a hub of creativity and technological excellence, enabling students and faculty to explore and develop solutions in fields like robotics, AI, IoT, and 3D printing. The initiative aims to encourage hands-on learning, research, and real-world problem-solving in areas such as healthcare, sustainability, and agriculture. In collaboration with Venture Nest, CGC Mohali's incubator for student startups, the AICTE IDEA Lab will create an ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurial talent. Students will receive mentorship from industry experts, helping them turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

This achievement reflects the visionary leadership of CGC Mohali's Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal. Gian Jyoti Announces Scholarships for African Students

Mohali, March 01, 2025:-With an aim to promote world-class education and strengthen ties with African countries, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology Phase 2 has announced scholarships of up to 50% for African students taking admission in postgraduate programmes like MBA and MCA for the upcoming academic session.

This announcement was made by J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, in the presence of Mrs. Jean Asantewah Kusi-Boadam, First Secretary, Counsellor and Welfare, High Commission of Ghana, New Delhi, and Mrs. Rukaliya Mustapha Aliyu, Second Secretary, E&M, High Commission of Nigeria. Appreciating this initiative, the guests described it as an important step towards strengthening educational ties between India and African countries.

Panchkula, Mar.01, 2025:-पंचकूला के मेयर कुलभूषण गोयल और श्रीमती अंजू गोयल ने आज अमरावती, पंचकूला में चोखी ढाणी ट्रॉफी के लिए स्वर्गीय लाला अमरनाथ अग्रवाल अंडर-15 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट के 5वें संस्करण की ट्रॉफी का अनावरण किया। पंचकूला के सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता स्वर्गीय लाला अमरनाथ अग्रवाल की याद में 5वां क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट लगातार आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर चंडीगढ़ के नगर निगम के पार्षद मनोज सोनकर, श्रीमती अंजू गोयल कैप्टन सुशील कपूर,  हरियाणा खेल कल्याण संघ (पंजीकृत) के महासचिव अमरजीत कुमार, कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष आशीष कुमार राय, वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष बलबीर सिंह, उपाध्यक्ष अश्विनी कुनार, संयुक्त सचिव विवेक जांगड़ा, विजय कुमार, प्रेस सचिव दलजीत सिंह,  विनोद कुमार एवं विक्रम गर्ग भी उपस्थित थे। 

महापौर कुलभूषण गोयल ने मीडिया को संबोधित किया और कहा कि वो वास्तव में हरियाणा खेल कल्याण संघ (पंजीकृत) के सदस्यों की सराहना करते है और उन्हें बधाई देते हैं, जो जमीनी स्तर पर क्रिकेट को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रहे हैं और शहर के ग्रामीण/पिछड़े क्षेत्रों के उभरते क्रिकेटरों को एक मंच प्रदान करने में लगे हुए हैं। वो आयोजकों को बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देते हैं क्योंकि वे पिछले 17 वर्षों से बड़े पैमाने पर राष्ट्रीय स्तर और ट्राई सिटी में लड़कों और लड़कियों के क्रिकेट को नियमित रूप से बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं।  

हरियाणा खेल कल्याण संघ (पंजीकृत) के महासचिव अमरजीत कुमार के अनुसार, ट्राई सिटी और उत्तर भारत की कुल 10 टीमों ने स्वर्गीय लाला अमरनाथ अग्रवाल अंडर-15 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट के आगामी 5वें संस्करण में अपनी भागीदारी की पुष्टि की है। चोखी ढाणी ट्रॉफी ट्राई सिटी के 4 क्रिकेट मैदान में बाबा बालक नाथ क्रिकेट मैदान, कैंबवाला, चंडीगढ़, जेपीएसए क्रिकेट ग्राउंड, डेराबस्सी और चैंप्स क्रिकेट अकादमी, पीरमुछल्ला में खेली जाएगी। जबकि फाइनल मैच 8 अप्रैल को टीडीएल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, पंचकूला में खेला जाएगा। सभी मैच लाल गेंद और सफेद ड्रेस के साथ खेले जाएंगे। सभी मैच 30 ओवर के खेले जाएंगे और प्रत्येक टीम 4 लीग मैच खेलेगी।  हरियाणा खेल कल्याण संघ (पंजीकृत) के महासचिव अमरजीत कुमार के अनुसार इस टूर्नामेंट को लगातार आयोजित करने का मुख्य उद्देश्य जूनियर क्रिकेटरों को तैयार करना और उन्हें अपने कौशल को निखारने और अपनी प्रतिभा को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रदर्शित करने के लिए उपयुक्त मंच प्रदान करना है और साथ ही ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों/पिछड़े वर्ग/समाज की युवा पीढ़ी को नशे की लत से बचाना है। अपनी स्थापना के बाद से, हरियाणा खेल कल्याण संघ (पंजीकृत) पिछले 17 वर्षों से लगातार हरियाणा और भारत के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जमीनी स्तर से पुरुषों और महिलाओं के लिए क्रिकेट खेल के प्रचार और विकास की दिशा में काम कर रहा है।

Chandigarh, Mar.01, 2025:- चंडीगढ़ व्यापार मंडल के कल रविवार 02 मार्च को होने वाले चुनाव के लिए उम्मीदवारों का आज मार्किट प्रतिनिधियों से बैठक की और चुनाव के मद्देनजर विचार विमर्श किया।

इसी कड़ी में प्रेसिडेंट पोस्ट के उम्मीदवार अनिल वोहरा सेक्टर 21 मार्किट में मार्किट एसोसिएशन के प्रतिनिधियों से मुलाकात की और व्यापार मंडल और व्यापारियों से जुड़े विभिन्न मुद्दों पर चर्चा की। इसी दौरान सेक्टर 21 की मार्किट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों ने अपना पूरा सहयोग और समर्थन अनिल वोहरा को देने का पूरा पूरा आश्वासन दिया। 

वहीं इस मौके पर अनिल वोहरा ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ व्यापार मंडल को नई उचाईयों पर ले कर जाना उनकी प्राथमिकता में शामिल है। उन्होंने मार्केट्स के ब्यूटीफिकेशन, बूथ मार्किट पर अतिरिक्त फ्लोर, मार्केट्स में कम्युनिटी पार्किंग के साथ साथ मार्केट्स प्रतिनिधियों के साथ चंडीगढ़ व्यापार मंडल की प्रतिमाह बैठक सुनिश्चित की जाएगी, ताकि उनकी समस्याओं को तत्परता से निबटाया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि मार्केट्स से जुड़ी समस्याओं और सुझावों को चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन और नगर निगम अधिकारियों तक पहुंचाना और उसे जल्द से जल्द अमली जामा पहनाना।
