Saupin’s School Holds its Annual Sports Meet

Chandigarh 19^th December:- The pre-primary wing of the Saupin's School, Mohali held its annual sports meet on Saturday with fun and frolic at the school premises.Cleanliness isn't a goal. It's a way of living. The theme of this show was " Swacch Bharat"  to instil in our little angels value of sanitation and hygiene. It aspires to realise the dream of clean India. 

The Headmistress Mrs. Goldie Kapany addressed the audience with a welcome speech and the members of the management and parent fraternity graced the occasion.

The event started with a march by the tiny tots of pre-primary holding their own little brooms- all set to clean and their teachers accompanying them with slogans. The event commenced with a "Walk to Remember" where little ones marched confidently with their parents. Children were seen balancing on the beam and flipping off the bars and showing perfect coordination of mind and body. The event showcased the sporting talents of young athletes aged 2-6 years. Keeping the theme in mind, various races were modelled like' Tiffin Time", "Operation Clean", 'Sweep the Passage" and "Helping Hands". The concept of the races was very interesting. These races involved cognitive skills along with the eye-hand coordination and some races lke "Team Spirit" was a skill game with team work as the key to the success.

The event gave a platform to the children to put their best foot forward. . The races were held class-wise with their own selected themes right from play group to upper KG which were enhanced by their innovative props. Cheering parents, colourful props and music on the ground made the whole atmosphere vibrant. The event concluded with a musical treat by the school band "Agni" and a lively, vibrant Bhangra.
