MCC Starts sale of Diwali stall coupons from 14 Oct.

Chandigarh 10^th October:- Peoples who want to set up their stalls on Diwali, can get prepaid coupens from MC office cahndigarh. The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh will going to start sale of these prepaid coupons from October 14.

According to the official spokesperson of the MC, these coupons will be issued at the Municipal Corporation Office and Sub office, Manimajra from October 14 to October 20, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. For Manimajra and Mauli Jagran, the coupons will be issued at Sub office, Manimajra. No coupons will be issued for sale in circus ground, sector 17, Nehru Park Sector 22, Exhibition Ground Sector 34, Polyclinic and area around Kiran Cinema, Sector 22, Chandigarh. The timing of issue of coupons shall be 11 a.m.  to 6 p.m. on these days. The coupons shall be issued on first come first serve basis. Terms and conditions of setting up such a stall shall be as printed on the coupon and put up at the notice board. Any one desirous of setting up a stall should get the coupon issued. No coupons will be issued after the last date i.e. October 20, 2014 and money will have to be paid in advance. He further informed that any one found to have set up a stall without a coupon, shall be charged double the rate applicable. For convenience of public, sufficient stalls have been set up at the Corporation Office Sector 17, Chandigarh and one stall at Sub Office, Manimajra for issue of these coupons. This time Municipal Corporation took some security measures and regarding this the coupon will be issued after submission of attested photocopies of photo ID either a copy of Voter card or Aadhaar Card.
