Mohali 10th October:-To make people aware about the evil practice of human trafficking and child labour along with ever increasing crime against women Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjei conducted a flash mob on the sensitive and burning issue crime against women,human trafficking and child labour. Flash mob dances happened in various parts of the city throughout the day . In flash mob students elaborates that in India, the initiative comes at a time when women's rights have become a pressing issue. Which demands better policing, stronger laws against sexual-assault and tougher penalties for crimes against women and it is high time to end violence against women. They later,urged residents to be extra careful and take preventive measures to avoid getting into such situations. Students then, gave a call to the entire nation and emphasised on the need for responsible parenting and inculcation of moral values at home which could help build a beautiful society. Then emphasised was given on complete mental change in the society through education and moral values so that heinous deeds can be curbed.
GD Bansal ,Director General, CGC Jhanjeri lauded the efforts of students and faculty members.
