Chandigarh 09th September:---Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today hold a Special Stray Cattle Catching Drive. During the drive 20 stray cattle were impounded from Municipal limits of Indra colony, Ram Darbar, Industrial area Ph-2, Sector 45, 46, 47, 48, 54 and 38 west.
Staff of Medical Officer of Health, Enforcement and road wing alongwith policemen carried out this drive and impounded 20 stray cattle. These cattle impounded will not be released as keeping of animals within the Municipal Limits is not permissible. The drive was held under the supervision of Rajiv Gupta, Joint Commissioner, Dr. M.S. Kamboj, Superintendent, Slaughter House, Enforcement Inspectors, Chief Sanitary Inspectors, Sanitary Inspectors, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
