Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's anointment as BJP's election campaign committee chairman on spurred celebrations among Bhatiya Janta Yuva Morcha, Chandigarh office where party workers burst fire crackers and distributed sweets. Anticipating Modi's elevation, a large number of Youth BJP leaders and workers gathered at the state unit office at Sector 33, Chandigarh and broke into celebrations.
Led by Amit Rana, President , BJYM said that to promote the nationalist feeling among the countrymen, Narender Modi must come forward and we assure him that we will work day and night to bring India's lost glory.
Gaurav Goel, Advocate Stte General Sectretary of BJYM said that "It is not only an overwhelming consensus among the leaders but there is a near unanimous view among the cadres that you have to give a special responsibility to a person who is perceived as highly popular and inspirational leader as far as cadres are concerned."
