Pran Pratistha of Sri Ramakrishna Concludes with Special Kali Puja, Bhakti Sammelan & Cultural Fest

Chandigarh, April 14, 2025:- A three-day long grand pran pratishta concludes with the Bhakti Sammelan organized by the Ramakrishna Mission which brought together hundreds of devotees at the Kalibari, Sector 47 on Monday. .The event celebrated the teachings and ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Maa Sarada and Swami Vivekananda.Earlier, an overnight special kali puja which was initiated on Sunday' night concluded on the next dawn. Bhakt Sammelan started with a soulful Vandana by Atreyee Ghosh. Swami Shantatmanandaji (Secretary, Gurgaon RKM) delivered the inaugural address wherein he referred to Swami Vivekananda's commentary on Sri Ramakrishna's life and message.

A series of profound speeches were delivered by monks and scholars including Swami Raghavendranandaji (RKM Nagpur), Swami Ramanahimananda (RKM Shimla) and Swami Bheethiarananda (RKM Chandigarh).

Eminent speakers such as Sister Pranjali, Siddhartha Chattopadhyay (IPS, former DGP Punjab), Dr. Nirmal Mittal and Dr. Debasish Chatterjee (RKM Vidyapith, Purulia), Amrita Ganguly and Shoma Chatterjee offered deep insights into India's spiritual heritage and the Ramakrishna Mission's social contributions. Later, devotional songs by Atreyee Ghosh, Raja Chattopadhyay, Debanjan Halder and Amrita Ganguly infused the devotees with bhakti ras. 

One of the remarkable features of the event was the Kirtan Sangeet wherein the world-renowned Kirtaniya, Padda Polash and his team from Kolkata mesmerized the audience with their soulful devotional music and spiritually uplifting chants.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rajesh Roy (Secretary, Kalibari Chandigarh) followed by a community lunch (Prasad).

Later in the evening, the enactment of Hindi play Divya Sparsh explores Sri Ramakrishna's divine interactions and portrays his spiritual influence. Conceptualized by Amrita Ganguly and anchored by Sudhir Baweja, the play features nearly 40 participants who  showcased heartfelt devotion, transformation and the mystic charm of Ramakrishna's teachings.

Kalbari is celebrating its 56th foundation day aligned with the Bangla new year on Tuesday. This beginning will also be marked by Special Pooja and Langar at the sidelines of Blood Donation Camp and free health and eyes check up camp.
