Shemrock School Organise Awareness Drive for Cleanliness & Hygiene

Mohali 04th August:--To make people more aware about the cleanliness and hygiene,Shemrock Senior secondary School, Mohali organised a door to door awareness campaign on cleanliness and hygiene at Jagatpura. Residents have been made aware that   diseases spread due to lack of cleanliness, especially during the rainy season and monsoon. They also told that it is high time to take care about hygiene because in rainy season bacteria spread very fast.

The students also carried slogans written banners i.e. "Don't throw litter here and there" "Keep your city neat and clean" "Save water save environment" in their hands to inspire the people. Students also aware people to not to throw garbage outside their house rather it should be disposed at proper place .In addition to this students also informed about the Changes in nature due to our carelessness  and appealed people to plant more and more plants .

While speaking at the moment Principal Retd.Air commander SK Sharma said that we should be honest towards our mother earth and come forward to protect it. He said that nature will care us only if we will care it

Chairman AS Bajwa said that poor hygienic conditions lead to health and environmental disasters so urged students to pay special attention for cleanliness in rainy season to protect themselves from bacteria.
