Mrs. North India pageant: Married women shows beauties with brains

Mohali 24th August:-Innovaction Events, held a Subtitle Talent Round of its beauty contest 'Mrs. North India 2014'. The event was organized in association with Connect Broadband and Videocon Telecom, at its corporate office in Mohali. Judges for the talent round were Ms. Popila Singh & Ms. Amrita Singh.

 

 The Talent Round held in Mohali was a sub title one of Mrs. North India in which contestants performed by Singing, Dancing, Acting, Giving Mimicry presentations or for that any other type of art form for 2-3 Minutes to showcase their talent in front of judges. On the basis of their confidence and performance, the winner will be selected, whose name will be announced in the Grand Finale on August 25. 

 

According to Ms. Disha Luthra, MD, Innovaction Events, that while most beauty pageants are organized for unmarried women, 'Mrs. North India 2014' has been structured for married women. In India ladies ensconce themselves in their homes after matrimony, this event will give them a platform to come out of their homes, from their normal household routine and build greater self confidence by reigniting their pre-marriage charms." Not just housewives but even working women are keenly vying for top honours in the contest.  Said Mr. Nitin Luthra, COO, Innovaction Events, "It is a well thought-out contest based on Indian Culture for happily married ladies

 

The popularity of the ongoing pageant can be gauged from the fact that more than 200 entries from North India including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Himachal were received by the organizers. Out of this large number, 16 Contestants were shortlisted in the preliminaries to compete in the finale. Those who have partnered to bring the pageant are Rediscover, Saumya Silvers, Indola Tressed Up, Desire Diamond and Crystal.
