Chandigarh 12th July:- The music of the upcoming multi-starrer Punjabi film 'Yaaran Da Katchup' was officially released on Saturday in Chandigarh. The film has been made under the banner of Vivicam Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and same is the music label for the film. So it was actually the release of the music as well as the launch of the music label.
The album has a total of seven songs which have been composed by B. Praak, GK, Gurnazar and Sahil. Lyrics have been penned down by Gurnazar and Jaani. Hardy Sandhu is already a professional singer and has sung two songs 'Munda Sohna' and 'Propose Thokna' in the film. The music's main attraction would be 'Made In India' fame Alisha Chinai who has lend her voice for the first time as a playback singer in this Punjabi film Yaaran Da Katchup to the song 'Nede Nede Aa Len de'. She has been people's favourite since the pop album days. Other singers include Labh Janjua, who has given playback to many Akshay Kumar & Salman Khan Movies with his latest being London Thumakda from Queen. Upcoming, Gurnazar and Sahil are the other two singers. Background score is by Raju Rao from Bollywood who does the background for Bhatt camp. On this occasion Hardy thanked everyone for the chance in acting as well as singing. He said who would not want to sing a song for himself in his debut film. Director Abhay is happy with the music as it maintains the pace of the story exactly as he wanted.
Producer Vikram Bansal told that each and every member of the production team was chosen after a lot of thinking and planning, just to fit the character they are playing. From day one, I was sure that my music team would work according to the demand of the story. These days whenever I call the people I know, I find the songs of my film as their caller tune. This itself proves that the music is being loved all over. Other songs of the film are titled 'Aavega Mahi', 'Nede Nede (Male)', 'Yaaran Da Katchup' and 'Fateh King Fattu'. The label, Vivicam Entertainment was also officially launched and the the Director of the Company, Vikram Bansal said that, besides movies, they shall promote albums and songs. They shall try to promote the upcoming musicians, singers and lyricists.
Hardy Sandhu, Varun Sharma and Anil Juneja are playing the lead characters in the film. The story revolves around the lives of these three best friends. Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma, Vijay Tandon, Rana Ranbir, Ranjan Sehgal, Kruti Popat, Anita Hassanandani, Yuvika Chaudhary, Simpy Singh and Shagun Jaswal will also be seen in the film. Abhay Baiju Chhabra has directed this film who was the associate director with Prakash Jha for the films like Apaharan and Raajneeti. He also has a number of daily soaps in his kitty as a director. The producer of the film is Vikram Bansal and it has been co-produced by Adhiraj Goyal, Sandeep Jain, Vishal Singla and Aakash Bansal.
