Tandon Promises to Redress Problems of City Markets

Chandigarh, May 4, 2024:- BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat Sanjay Tandon is now laying emphasis on visiting different markets of Chandigarh as  part of his election campaign. He and his son Shiven have embarked on a tour of various  markets of the city to understand issues concerning shopkeepers. 

Sanjay Tandon said that Chandigarh has one of the finest and well organised markets and most of the shopkeepers are quite happy with the facilities provided in the last 10 years. Wherever he has gone, people have welcomed him with open arms. Shopkeepers in all the markets have assured me of their full support. He ia  a local resident and personally know a majority of shop owners of Chandigarh.

Sanjay Tandon today visited the Surgical Market in sec 16 to meet with shop owners. Earlier he had  visited the Sec 19 market and the motor market in Manimajra too. 

It is noteworthy that Sanjay Tandon has been joined by his son Shiven  in this mission. Shiven has already visited 25 markets so far and has got a very encouraging response in all the markets.

It is pertinent to mention that the main problems being faced in  markets are parking issues, cleanliness and  issues concerning building byelaws among others.

Shivendra that we are taking a  round of all markets and meeting shopkeepers by going from shop to shop, this way we are understanding problems being faced by shop owners be they owners of booths, sco's, scf's etc.

BoxChandigarh is becoming a health industry hub : Tandon

BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon said that Chandigarh is becoming a health industry hub. He was addressing a meeting organized at the Surgical Market located in Sector-16.   The shopkeepers of the surgical market welcomed the BJP candidate with the beat of drums and  garlands of flowers. During the shop to shop campaign, Tandon understood the shopkeepers problems. He sought support for the BJP from shopkeepers and enumerated the achievements of the Modi government.
